Three Dog Night has been and always be one of the best bands to ever have graced the face of this earth. Even without Chuck they sounded awsume and I would go and see them again tonite if they were here. I think anyone who even romotely likes their music should do themselves a favor and go check out this concert... you wont be disappointed at all ;)

I have loved Three Dog Night ever since I was a little girl (I'm 40 now). Joy to the world was my favorite song! My sister and I would sing that song all the time, our parents got a kick out of our performance. Seeing this group in concert was both entertaining and nostalgic. Hard to believe the group is 40 yrs old. My kids have been raised on Three Dog Night music too. Gotta keep the great classics alive, right? Just one more great memory I have with my daughters. Thanks again for such a great concert!

My friend and I arrived at the venue and Kansas was the first group to play. What an amazing bunch of musicians who still have it all after 35 years of being together. Musically, they are a very tight group, extremely professional and, of course, the most important thing is that they played all of their hits. Kansas has a very unique style that is all their own and the word survivors comes to mind as it is so uplifting to know that they made it through the sixties and seventies with some of the rest of us to prove that in the final anaylsis it really is the music that makes them great.
After Kansas rocked, Three Dog Night came out on stage after a breif break. I realized that they had so many hits back in the day that they had more hits than their set list had room for. Every song they played was a classic and these guys after 40 years of playing together proved their exceptional talent and how truely universal all good music really is. For and example, Cory Wells, one of the three lead singers demonstrated how you can take a great song and sing it as either a time proven favorite or as a rap song; a great song can be sung in any style and he and the group are amazing performers. Their vocals are still very good. Danny Hutton, one of the other singers in the group was just getting over the flu and he still sounded great. A couple of times his voice understandably broke (hardly noticable) but they had the class to explain this to the audience. All-in-all both groups are consumate performers who really deliver the goods. You will leave feeling that the price of your ticket was well worth it! Job well done and very enjoyable!

The two band show was great. Probably one of the best shows I went to all year. And I did about 6 concerts this year. And the big surprise was that Three Dog Night was even better than Kansas. I went there not expecting this. All I can say is both were very good, but Three Dog Night was truly excellent. If you get the chance to see these guys you should.

The entire concert was uplifting especially knowing the AGES of the Musicians. I especially wanted to hear Joy to the World - This was the last song, but the place was deffinitely rocking, we were all on our feet!

Even though I thought it a strange combination I was determined to go. I hadn't seen TDN since I was a silly little school girl fawning at the stage front. I had never seen Kansas live but always wanted to.

Kansas - down to earth, honest, non-pretentious. Just great music from awesome musicians and an artist - fan symbiosis that I'm so glad I finally got to experience.

TDN - when I was 16 years old, I loved the music but was more drawn by hormones and lust than musicianship. What a wonderful surprise to find that they have aged like fine wine and are seasoned to perfection!

Now in my 50's my musical interests are ecclectic but lean toward blues as a staple. I was gratified to hear them doing some hard core blues and felt their love of the genre.

While I really wanted Chuck to be there with them - I still was not disappointed. This time, in my decrepitude, I left the concert arena appreciating the musicianship and consumate performers they have become.

And while they are still totally lustable; they are so much more than that. They probably always have been but now I'm seeing them through fewer hormones and hearing them through more discriminating ears.

One more thing ........ kudos to the venue, Valley View Casino. The volume was perfect and my 50-something ears weren't ringing all the way home. Great show - lots of fun!

Kansas started the show. Their voices were showing their age. Their show wasn't much of a performance. I was a little disappointed.

The Dog Night was a very PLEASANT surprise. Their voices were still fairly strong and they put on a great show. Started a little slow and built it up getting the croud into their show. It was pretty funny watching all us dancing and singing. We just don't look and move like we used too.

This venue was AWESOMEexcept for the seats! Where did they buy those chairs from a grade school? A normal persons behind won't fit! My first time there and I'll be back.

To my surprise Kansas was the better band last night. The sound engineer for 3 dog night should be fired. The sound was the worst I have experienced in almost 50 years.
I went for 3 dog night, but enjoyed the sound of Kansas better.
DO NOT GO SEE 3 DOG NIGHT unless they get a new sound engineer.
I am a huge fan of 3 dog night. They sang a lot of their great hits, but the sound engineer made it hard to listen to.

The show wasn't perfect but that was probably because Danny Hutton was sick with the flu. He struggled some at the start of the concert but after a couple of songs they found their groove and really rocked. If they ever perform in this area again I will gladly pay to see them.
