They never fail to completely blow away their audience! It's always impressive and very classy to me when a rock group plays the Ryman and mentions the history of it and that they are honored to play there. Adding that to their show makes them real to the people and shows that they have a great deal of respect for the Ryman as well as all genres of music.
Their performance was flawless, fun and technically smooth. And a note to sound: for once, it was not so ridiculously loud that you couldn't enjoy it. The sound people did an amazing job. And Styx remains one of the most iconic rock bands of all time!

Styx still sounds just as awesome as when they first recorded. They engage with the crowd, act silly and put on a great show. Lawrence Gowan is such a character and a blast to watch! You can tell they still really enjoy performing. They sing all the classics you want to hear and then some. This wasn't my first time seeing them and it won't be my last! If you're a Styx fan, it's a must! Had a blast! It's also cool to see young attendees too, like myself, who can appreciate classic rock from before we were even born!

Had not seen Styx without Dennis De Young and I wondered how they'd do any of the songs on which he sang lead. I must say, they pulled it off and then some! Way more than I expected. Tommy Shaw's voice still strong as ever. Lawrence Goren is a great replacement for Dennis and James Young still rockin', too. Original member Chuck Pannazzo made an appearance, which was also cool. Great vibe. I highly recommend this show.

The bands were all great. The only down side we went to see Ted Nugent and he went on first and early. So if you came into the venue a little later to see Ted Nugent as the headliner you missed out!

Great show. Uncle Ted the showman as always,,,,,, could have played longer than 50 minutes... just a little disapointed in that aspect... REO, and Styx. ROCK THE HOUSE !!!!!!
The OLD folks like me knew the songs just like the younger generation.. that is Great.. not all music reaches fan bases like these bands do. will go again..

Definitely not worth the money as Styx only played for 1 hr 10 min as the headliner. I seen Styx at least a dozen times and they have never played for less than 90 min. If Styx wants to keep their fan base they better not have this short of a performance in the future. REO Speedwagon as the opener played longer than Styx.

Ted Nugent was incredible. REO Speedwagon was a little weak- the music overpowered his voice, but it was still good to go. Styx was AWESOME though! They put on a fantastic show and the singing was amazing. So glad we went- seats were awesome; we sat in section 3 and were SO CLOSE. Will definitely be going again next year if they come back!

It was an okay show, but Styx definitely didn't play as long as they should have. The fact that the concert was on a Sunday night didn't help either.

I didn't go in to the venue until after Nugent was done playing. Not a big Nugent fan. REO came on stage and was good, played a lot of favorites. No complaints but they didn't blow me away either. For the price, I would definitely go again. I was at the last concert of the tour and read reviews online before going. It appeared that different bands were the headliner in different cities, Stxy was the headliner in Pittsburgh and they certainly earned that position. I have seen Styx 5 or 6 times in the past and they never disappointed. However, this time, they were fabulous.

Styx, Ted Nugent and REO Speedwagon put on another great show in Atlanta last Sunday night! Great crowd in February type weather!
Styx as always stole the show! Probably my 20th time seeing them since late 70s. Uncle Ted is back with Derek St. Holmes and put on blistering set! REO was solid but you could tell Kevin Cronin was fighting a cold.....
All in all.....another trip down Memory Lane that was Fantastic from start to finish!

It was very good until alot of people were getting soak and as much we payed to sit up front and y'all should have curtain on the sides when there is chance of rain. Other than that it was nice and reasonable and enough people to help everyone as well too. So Thanks for your help on the concerts.

I saw Ted Nugent last year when he opened for REO and STYX. I was so offended by his language. He is a great American, but can do without the cursing. Because of that, I didn't go to the show until Nugent's last song...and true to form.... his language was offensive.

REO and STYX were awesome, as usual. The unfortunate thing about the concert...there are not enough hours to enjoy all their awesome music.

I admit that I'm an 80s kid so I look forward to Styx/REO. Have seen each five times in the last ten years and even saw the Midwest Express Tour at Verizon last year. I know every night is not perfect, but Kevin Cronin (lead singer for REO) was unfortunately really off during this show. I'm hoping he was just sick because he had pretty much no voice - couldn't sing and what he did sing he took an octave down for the entire show, so we could barely hear him. I've seen REO many times over the past ten years and Cronin has always been good, so I'm really hoping this was just a bad night where he was losing his voice.

Nugent is just annoying. I won't even take my seats until he's off the stage. I'd rather hear more of Kevin Cronin having a bad day than any of Nugent's swearing and noise. As a matter of fact I'd rather have a shorter show than any of Nugent.

Styx was fine, but both Styx and REO did the exact same show they did last year - same sets, same background video, etc. I think the era has just passed for me. I still enjoy reliving my youth but I need a reason to come back.

Nice to have a crowd sway in tempo and tune with familiar songs of yesteryear. Christ, what an old crowd! They would have appreciated "Journey to The Center of The Mind"....most had forgotten how to get there! Only problem was in the row behind, some chick wandered in the aisle, stop behind our seats, and threw-up. None one even knew her! She wasn't cute either. Security escorted the "lost hurler" out and the venue sent clean-up staff to clear the chocks. That impressed all those within "smell range"
