I love Social D and was really looking forward to this concert. That being said, the show started over 2 1/2 hours late. They had this "One Man Band" that was the opening act that was absolutely terrible - he was so bad that I actually went outside in the freezing cold to get away from the awful noise that really was closer to feedback than music.

No band should be over 2 1/2 hours late for an 8 p.m. show and let's face it, while I love Social D, it's not like they are the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney (and even their shows start pretty much on time). We were actually getting close to leaving by the the time they hit the stage (it was close to 11 p.m. at that time and there is just so long you can stand and wait -this was at the House of Blues and it is standing room only). The performed for a little over an hour and did most of their hits, but not Ball and Chain. The sound wasn't engineered that well and they were ok. It didn't compare to when I had seen them in the past, but that was over 10 years ago.

Delay in start of headliner's set was a bit annoying. But Social D's performance was worth the wait. Perfect venue to see a band- especially one with a history like theirs. Fans from 6-60yrs in the house!

I had never seen Social Distortion live up until last December, even though I had been a fan of their music for some 20 years.

I went last December and loved them. So much so, I went again to this show and they were even better! They switched up the setlist (loved that). They were tight and even more energetic than the first time!

Apart from having to go to Hollywood, it was a good show. Anaheim HOB has fans spoiled with $6 valet. $15 to park on top of all the money spent to that point in Hollywood is asking a lot. I see why they promote it like crazy. Tough sell. Still had fun.

As the lead singer said, Social Disorder concerts are an education. There is a pretty heavy duty mosh pit scene for Social Disorder. For those who want to join in on that, I guess you can do so at your own risk. There are some pretty "serious lookin' folks" there. I mean -- damn! Outside the mosh pit, everybody seemed pretty cool. It was as though it was understood -- you can jump into all the mayhem if that's what you want....or you can "chill out" and take in a lot of great music. The band is great. They have a loyal following and the place was packed. It seemed like a lot of people there had been to some of the band's previous concerts during the last couple of months. So, you just need to know up front what you're in for when you go see Social Disorder -- some great music -- and definitely a bit of chaos and mayhem. It was an interesting evening. As part of this review, they ask you if you'd recommend this concert to a friend. Well...it depends on what friend.

Love Social D many times; they've give me lots of highs but his show was a great disappointment. The sound for vocals was terrible--almost downright uninteligible. After moving around from one side of the venue to the other in hopes of finding a proper sound....i couldn't and left the show early very disappointed.

Great venue, amazing show from the opening band...Red Devil Squadron to the headliner Social Distortion. Sold out crowd, super fun show from start to finish. Want to see more of Red Devil Squadron. Picked up their CD, going to follow them for sure!!

Social D wasted no time jumping into their classics starting with The Creeps and pulling out songs from the old days like Cold Feelings, Ghost Town Blues, and Drug Train. Not too much of the new stuff which was fine with me although I would have liked to hear Machine Gun Blues. However, I get the feeling that with so many shows they will be pulling that one out for some other night. Also, the Johnny Cash encore was incredible starting with Folsom Prison Blues that segued into Ring of Fire!

Seen a lot of Social D shows...not their finest moment. They seemed to lack enthusiasm...I know it's been a long tour...with illness...etc...but...long for the Hootenanny days when they enveloped the venue!
