Setlist: The entire Oceania album, Space Oddity, X.Y.U., Disarm, Tonight, Tonight Reprise, Tonight, Tonight, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, Song For A Son, Today. Encore was Zero, Ava Adore, and Cherub Rock. @

Opening act(s): Anberlin - Never heard of them, haven't heard their music, but their songs were pretty catchy. I was moving along with them. @

Is it possible to be objective when one has been a long-time, die-hard fan? Not really. I've attended six Pumpkins shows including this one. My favorite performance so far was their set at the 1997 Bridge School Benefit Concert. But I've thoroughly enjoyed every concert. The only difference this time are the visual effects which were fantastic. From what I've read, they come courtesy of the people responsible for the effects for Roger Waters' The Wall. Images of what look like star maps, black and white photos, lovers (a man and woman), sea creatures (particularly a sea turtle), and various other psychedelic art are projected onto a globe-shaped projector. Very cool (makes me wish they played Porcelina). The smells of different kinds of "leaves" being smoked added to the atmosphere (Oh yeah, there was also "water vapor" from a couple of electronic cigarettes). Anberlin's performance was enjoyable though I've never heard of them nor was I familiar with their music. Long story short, I was rocked. The show wasn't sold out which bummed me out (San Francisco always seemed to represent) but in the end, the most important thing was that I was moved and my wife had a great time. Then again this is coming from a person who would follow Billy Corgan to the ends of the earth.

This show was absolutely amazing. I can honestly say that this was the best show I've been to. The two opening bands were Bad City and Kill Hannah which I thought were average, but had a lot of respect for them for being so grateful to be touring with the Smashing Pumpkins. The Smashing Pumpkins began with "A Song For A Son" (new song from the Teargarden by Kaleidyscope) with Billy wearing a colonial type outfit that fitted the opening and song well I thought, followed by other songs including "Today" , "Hummer", and "Astral Planes". Also, another feature of the concert were the many different lights, which made it feel really rock n roll. Billy also changed up "United States", making it more metal and awesome, which I still have in my head. The setlist was amazing and included well-known songs like "Bullet" along with new and just as powerful material like "Freak". The show ended with "Gossamer" with beautiful guitar work and a relaxed feel. I really enjoyed this show. It was great to see Billy shredding and having fun. He's definitely passionate about the new music and new lineup. You've got to see the Smashing Pumpkins on this tour or in the near future. I guarantee you will be blown away and never forget the experience of seeing this great reformed band!

The sound was not mixed very well. Could not here vocals over the guitar. Even the opening act kept asking the sound mixer to turn up the voice volume. The griffix were awesome, big screens fantastic.

Could not hear any of the vocals for the pumpkins or both opening acts. Microphones didn't work. When the music was stopped and the bands talked you could barely hear what they were saying.

I wasnt to fond about the new album oceanonina and the crowd really wasnt pleased either but when they played the old songs such as 1979, cherub rock, disarm etc... The crowd went nuts brought back memories.

The bands that I saw rocked! The smashing pumpkins and Awol Nation were the best of all. Shinedown also brought a nice tight set. The rain and wind the first day was near unbearable and I was too exhausted to stay for the Offspring. The headliners were scheduled to come on too late near 11:00 pm, it would have been different at a camping type of fest where people don't have a 40 minutes drive home. The food vendor selections were small without much "fest" food, Dominoes Pizza, really? How about a funnel cake or grilled corn cobs? I drove down from Atlanta and attended with my local relatives. Overall we had a great time weather permitting. Oh yeah I almost forgot, the storm caused a replacement stage to be set up which the promoter took care of, unfortunately it had a smaller sound system and the Smashing Pumpkins are much louder than that. Rock On!!!

I love the awkwardness and how Corgan tries to implement so much into the show based on that. The energy level was through the roof.. and I loved that the show was very long. Over 2 hours. Was a very amazing show!

I was very impressed with the show the Smashing Pumpkins put on. I was not familiar with their music, however my boyfriend loves them and wanted to go for his birthday. I enjoyed the music and the performance was outstanding. They played for almost 2 hours and sounded great. Well done Pumpkins!!!
