I've seen Joe play live maybe 6 times prior to this event. He never fails to impress! His mastery of the guitar is something that can't be fully appreciated until experienced live. There are a lot of good guitarists in the industry who put out very good sounding CD's, but you soon learn when watching live that it may have taken them 10-20 takes in the recording studio to get that finished product. Let me tell you, Joe sounds just like he does on the CD. Not saying he doesn't add a lot of feeling and emotion to a live performance, but he cranks out the solo's with masterful expertise every single time!! Joe mixed in about ¾ of his newest material along with many classics. Saying his music is timeless may sound like a corny cliche but looking around the audience you see teenagers to people pretty close to retirement. If you have the opportunity to catch Joe on tour don’t pass it up!

Wow. I have seen Joe several times and this show was, my God, it was soooooooooooooo sick. He played his ass off like I have never seen, he so just tore it UP. If you have not seen Joe live you are seriously missing out on the most incredible guitar you likely will ever hear and witness live, get tickets and GO see Joe Satriani, you will not regret it. Thank You Joe for the incredible show, we will be there again for you, over and over.

Joe Satriani ROCKS and his group was fantastic, not pickup musicians, but the real crew used in his live concerts. The sound system and audio mix at Horshoe Casino was atrocious. They finally got it about half-right about 70% through the show, someone must have said something. Seating is card table chairs, so expect a dead rear end after the first set when attending this venue.

First the official sounding stuff, the Venue gets 5 stars easy. Comfy seats, perfect view everywhere spacious aisles and temprature controlled to a T.
Now to giddy fanboy business, Satch was perfect, plain and simple. The show started a scant 10 minutes after the hour which is super punctual these days and when it did i wasn't leaving my seat for anything. Watching and hearing Joe play is a pure pleasure, and he is a master at what he does. The set was well varied with old,new, and all in between. The show ran for about 2 hours and had no opening act, which was perfect in my eyes because he doesn't need one, he went nonstop and with the amount of fingerwork he does I would have gladly waited if he wanted to take a pause to relax the arms and hands a while.
Joe please come back again soon and often, and please consider a meet and greet. I'd gladly pay for the chance to meet a legend like yourself.

Joe Satriani put on a great show. It was a perfect night out. The Venue is a good place to see a concert. If you arrive early there is a good buffet style dinner and a bar. Valet parking is the way to go. Don't forget to tip those servers and valets.

What would be better than spending a night out with your man? Spending the night out with your man and Joe Satriani. Watching my man dance, sing and get down was the high light of my July. Didn't know my man had it in him. What an animal!!!!! Had so much fun, will not forget that night for a long time.

Audience too stiff.... A little dissapointed not to see Stu Hamn. Also dissapointed at the staff at Horseshoe, too strict, do not stand there, no picture here... come on!

The Venue at the Horseshoe Casino was a superb concert setting. The very new and clean hall had a great stage, sound, and lighting system, as well as two hugs video screens to view the up close action on Joe's fretboard. It was a night to remember! Thanks to Joe and his band , and the Hrseshoe Casino. I will definitely see another show here.

I took my girl to see Joe because his music is so good to hear in this time of hiphop and pop suckieness. I was amazed by his new band member the keyboard player. His keyboard player was awsome! Like he had been playing with Joe forever! I have never seen a rock star who was so humble in all my life! His set list was perfect IMO. All the songs flowed great. I got a hat:-)

The Horseshoe Casino is a great place for a show. I had an isle seat so I'm not sure how tight the seating is but at 54 years old just being able to sit is a plus.Joe Satriani is by far the most talented guitar player I have ever seen.Joe played almost 2 hours and all the songs were near spot on to the studio version.Great show and I can't wait to see him again.

This was my first Joe Satriani show. And I'll most likely see another, for sure! I didn't stay for the "after show" set. I'm sure I missed out on some terrific stuff. I would like to see additional instruments intertwined with his set, or some vocals for variety, albeit Joe's guitar "sings" as he plays, a few melody’s of vocals will add flavor - his energy is incredible, a few additional cooks in the kitchen won’t create havoc, it will be delicious! Joe needs to play on both ends of the stage though, he got in a comfort zone on one side of the stage.

ive been to many concerts in my life , and ive waited a while to see joe. it was by far hands down the best concert ive been to. i will definately go see joe again when he comes back around here. him , n jeff n the guys did an amazing job. all i can say is satriani rocks !

Show was great, venue was very nice, only gripe was that his rhythm guitar player wasn't there, and hes a huge part of the show-was replaced with a keyboard player which I did not enjoy.
