The Rage For Order set was worth the price of admission for me on this night with only Queensryche performing. Three seperate genre's of 'Ryche represented, seven or eight from each. The "American Soldier" set did exactly what a band hopes to have happen when they perform live; I went and downloaded the record. For me the live performance was much better than the recording but isn't that how it should be and so rarely is anymore? The poignant moment with defacto band leader/lead vocalist Geoff Tate and his daughter on stage performing was heart warming in context with the video backdrop accompanying them. Then finishing with 7 songs from Empire the greatest commercial success the band has had to date was a nice touch. That and the 'Take Hold Of The Flame' encore. Well done gentlemen, well done.

Geoff and the group was absolutely amazing in their show. Geoff's ability to still belt out those tunes like it was still back in the 80's just blows me away. The rest of the band was amazingly tight. I cannot say enough about that show and about the band. Queensryche has always been a favorite of mine and they keep proving it to me time and time again.

This is one of my wifes favorite bands of all time so I suprised her with this show as an birthday gift. We went with a couple of friends who also enjoy good rock n roll. The show was at The Masquerade Atlanta and was a great up close venue. Lita Ford came out and did a couple of songs of her own as well as her famous duet with Ozzy with the band. Queensryche was very good, I like there new stuff as it is more progressive and up to date for my taste, but it was cool to hear the old hits as well. Wifey was pleased to hear all her old favorties. The band sounded great. If you like them then you will enjoy this show and the small venues they are playing on this tour.
