Thank you Eddie and company for putting on such an energetic performance...even though it was the second show of two consecutive nights. Pearl Jam is still hot, has loyal fans from the nineties, and some newbies as well. It was a 2 1/2 hour show...worth every penny!! Love you Eddie!! The Star Spangled Banner and the lights up during the end of the show was really cool.

This was my second Pearl Jam show, the first was in 1998 and at the same venue, Alpine. I liked how frontman Eddie Vedder told the crowd how important it was to vote, reminding people how it was a close vote for president in the previous election. I have ten of their CDs, full albums as well as singles. I like how one of them, 'Live on Two Legs', even had posters from the 1998 tour inside, mini versions of course. It included the show I went to, though it was a combined poster that says 'Troy/Chicago'. I got a sticker and a poster at this show. The first show was what I wrote about when sharing my best reason why I rented a car as I couldn't miss the concert after my car broke down. Nice venue, an easier ticket since there are plenty general admission seats available on the hillside.

Why haven't we heard this on the Pearl Jam radio station yet?

Man! There was just too much great stuff -- from the outstanding set list; to Vedder's story about working in San Diego as a security guard and getting permission to "style" a mohawk, to the "Happy Birthday" song that the audience sang to Lulu -- the 16-year-old daughter of one of Vedder's staff, to Mike "F'n" McCready's guitar playing, to some of the band's former music instructors being invited up to the stage to play with the band, to Vedder leading the audience in a "sing-along" of "Better Man," to Ben Harper and the Relentless 7 opening, to Ben and Eddie performing together, to the great audience, etc., etc. -- What a great show and what a great, fun time. Yep -- I remember this.

Great show. It doesn't matter how many times you have seen PJ, it's always amazing!! They never do the same set list so each show is unique and it feels personalized.

We have been going to PJ concerts since Drop In The Park. They are the best thing thats happened since the Beattles in my opinion. Seen approximately 36 concerts,and cherish every one. We were fortunate to have scored front row center seats in 2000 for the Binaural tour and will always remember it, but when Ed tossed Ron a tambourine at the Edmonton show that just topped it all. Nothing better in our concert experiences.. Thanks Ed! You guys are exceptional. We totally are true PJ fans. Can't wait to see you all again!!!!! Keep Rockin in The Free World !!! ( We are big fans of Neil Young and have been since the 60's) Lotta Love going out to all of you xoxoxoxo

I have loved Pearl Jam for years and was looking forward to my first PJ concert. Unfortunately, after a 2 hour drive in the rain, the droves of people were already quite sauced, the concession stands all ran out of food, but one, and there was no cold beer to be bought. We attended the first day of this festival and for the venue to run out of food by 7pm was ridiculous! We ended up standing in line for an hour and a half to wait for the only food in the venue to be cooked, which was overpriced chicken fingers. Since we had to wait in line for so long, we missed two acts. I was told by a friend after the fact that Chris Cornell had come out to perform. Who the heck knew since we were unable to enjoy the concert since the concessions were so poorly managed? Great idea, PJ, but work on the organization a little better. Going to a concert is no walk in the park in this day and age. I don't mind spending my money for great service, but this was awful. Never again to Alpine Valley. I just hope PJ comes back out on tour so I can actually enjoy them at a better venue. You guys sounded amazing, by the way. Just spine-tingling awesome. Eddie, your voice is like a fine wine.

Though the sound system at the Pacific Coliseum was horrendous the band gave it their all. I've been to 60+ shows and they've never phoned it in. I thought Ed was going to have to sing his lungs out in order to be heard above the instruments and crowd, the microphones for both bands were not correctly balanced so we couldn't hear the singers and we were 4th row center. Still, great setlist. A nice mix of old/new, frequent faves and rarities. I traveled from Phoenix, AZ USA for this show and was very happy I did!

This was the 5th time that i have seen Pearl Jam live and i have come to the conclusion that they are the best live band in the world. Not because of some flashy image driven lights show that some acts need to distract an audience. Pearl Jam's music is so compelling and versatile that 75% of the fans in the stadium are singing along to every song, including rare b side songs. Eddie knows this and lets the crowd sing along. It is the most fan inclusive experience in concert history. We hardcore fans feel the love the band gives back to us in return for our devotion, and eddie vedder is officially the prophet of a generation

This was by far the best concert I have attended to date. The music was great the crowd had an awesome vibe and PJ put on an amazing show. It was there 10th time being in Vancouver and 5th time selling out which lead to an unforgettable night which I believe for many was something that we can all tell our grand kids one day. If you haven't seen Pearl Jam you should asap. Because attending that concert I felt like I was apart of something special, it was honestly the best time I have had in a while and it was certainly a night to remember.

Bottom line is the Pacific Colosium is a WAY better venue than GM place or whatever. The last 3 times i have seen Pearl Jam was GM place and the sound was TERRIBLE! The colusium was cozy and every seat is a good one. The sound was amazing! The set list was perfect! The TEn club seats we got on our first year of membership were great. No complaints at all other than I wish it was 2 nights. Loved the tribute to the greats and the hendrix encore, as always ending with the light on and Yellow Ledbetter. Hoping to go see them in Costa Rica!!!!!!!!!

Pearl Jam was great, and Eddie Vedder's voice is amazing live. Opening act MudHoney, not so much. So loud it was painful. But PJ made up for it. And the lights show was the best I've ever seen
