The show was awesome although they played to many of their fast "moshing" songs early before anyone was really into it. So by the time people were really into the show and pumped all they were playing was slower songs and instrumentals. Not as much energy in the crowd as I had expected. Every one was just standing and watching. NIN gets a B+ the crowd gets a D-.

It was kinda weird at first that NIN played before Jane's Addiction. I was confused and a little sad because I was not in the building yet when I heard Trent singing. But, as the show went on, I realized it was better that he did. NIN in the sunlight was amazing. I was able to get really good pictures of him, instead of it being in the dark. And of course, Jane's Addiction was so incredible. They really know how to rock!

I saw my first NIN show in 1995 on the Downward Spiral tour. Ever since, I haven't missed a tour. You can always count on seeing something you've never seen before at a NIN show. But the Aragon show was different. Less innovative, more personal. Which is actually pretty innovative for a band as big as this. Trent delivered, as always. I am so thankful he came to Chicago. Getting constantly bumped by people leaving the beer line was worth the great spot where I could see his face. It was incredible.

Trent could use the rest. I know NIN cancelled a stop on tha LA tour do to sickness so I wonder if this effected Friday's show as well....It was a nice intimate setting for such a momumental band. I had only seen them @ UIC Pavillion & this was way better. How ever that show just came off as more intense. Oh well....

The show was amazing until the very end. While Peter Murphy had a fantastic stage entrance for Reptile, it was disappointing the last two songs were Murphy covers.

Trent put on an amazing show as usual, but this venue was frustrating for my husband and I, since we couldn't see much of anything. The sound quality was not very good unless you were on the floor.

I went to both Chicago shows and Saturday had the energy I expected!!! Thirty plus songs, 2 1/2 hours of pure enjoyment. Trent was amazing in his last performance in Chicago and thanked Chicago for being the cool city that we are!!! Going out on top is the way it should be!!!!

They came out with a bang....3 high energy songs in a row from the broken album
There was a bit of a lull in the middle of the show, don't know if the band needed a rest or they were giving the audience a rest . It was a long set 2 1/2 hours long.
But they continued on with a bang The light show was incredible and the sound was very good as well.

I have seen NIN play 6 times now, and this was by far the most amazing show...they played the longest set they've ever played..the crowd was amazing. I can't believe Peter Murphy was a guest star..I wish they weren't retiring :(

I flew from S.C to see this show.It will differ from all other NIN shows considering it was 1 of the 10 last concerts for a long time,if not ever.Trent and company played for 2 hours and 40 minutes.The Energy onstage was amazing.I got tears during Hurt like always.Trent Reznor mentioned during a song break that I just want to let you know we're not done making music.
All of us collectively. Watch the website. Don't kill yourselves yet.
If they ever tour agian,I will be there!

Opening act(s): The Horrors...not the worst opening band, but certainly not the best! We visited the open air bar while they were on stage. I loved when A Perfect Circle and The Dreden Dolls opened for Nine Inch Nails on past tours. @

Nine Inch Nails has been my favorite band since wayyyy back when in high school. This was my 9th and possibly final time ever seeing Mr. Reznor and company take the stage, a bittersweet occasion to say the least. Terminal 5 was rediculously packed, resulting in my group getting stuck midway through the pit while trying to make it from the bar to the front of the stage when the show started. I couldn't see much at first, but the raw energy of the music alone made up for that. I was having my own little party dancing like a mad woman! My group eventually got split up and I swam through the crowd ending up in front with my best friend near Robin. I loved Dead Souls and Wish, but I wish Trent would have played the ever famous "Closer" one last time and the emotional "The Great Below". However, a good mix of the old and new was played and I loved every second of it. I left drenched as if I had jumped in a pool and wishing I had tickets for the show on 8/26! As our limo pulled away from the venue, the great memories of my last NIN experience did too. Trentism forever.

The venue was perfect, NIN engrossing even without the fancy stage tricks they've come to embrace. A great variety of songs from a stellar career. Trent reminded me why I was there in the first place. Can't wait to hear what he does next!
