I've been a fan since "Days of Future Passed" released. I.ve seen them many times and have never experienced a bad show and last night at the Hard Rock Live was no different. They rocked the place, the Flute was right on the money and they all perfprmed with the same strong passion as always have and the crowds still love them. I have three daughters from 18 to 30 and they have all been to Moody concerts with me and all love teh Moody Blues.. Keep on ROCKING...and I we'll be there....

The six of us who attended the Moody Blues concert last night at the Orange County Fair couldn't have been more impressed with the quality of the groups vocals and musical abilities. After 40 years, the Moody Blues still sound as great as they did in their heyday. The crowd went wild when they played their hits-Wildest Dreams, Nights In White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, The Voice, Question, Ride My Seasaw, I'm Just A Singer In A Rock and Roll Band.......so many songs that bring back memories. There has never been another band that compares with the style and sound of the Moody Blues. They have their own sound, and it's GREAT!!!

I have seen the Moodies many times and though I miss Ray Thomas' harmonies, they are still an amazing band! I would attend their show anytime they come to town. Please book them again!!

I've been a Moody Blues fan for some forty years now. Their music has been with me through many good and bad times. As you can imagine I was excited when I heard they would be in town soon (San Antonio, TX, 03/12/2013). By the end of the night I had reconfirmed my belief that they're still the best band ever! I gotta admit that I do miss Ray and Mike though. In my mind The Moody Blues' own "Peak Hour" came when Ray, Mike, Graeme, Justin and John were together. That said, I have to admit the remaining members really have gathered a group of extremely talented musicians to help them out. They sounded great! Justin and John still sing beautifully, and it sure was nice to hear Graeme recite his poems. The show included a big screen behind the band with lots of great imagery. Gave me a lump in the throat to see pictures of Tony Clarke up there. About half of the songs were from "the core seven" (Ahhh... the memories). The other half were "post Sojourn" but all excellent songs as well. By the end of the show they had us all standing and cheering, in a well deserved standing ovation. All-in-all a wonderful evening.

I loved seeing the Moody Blues in person. I have been a fan for a very, very long time and I always listen to their music. I knew going in that they were, in fact, going to be older (an unfortunate reality) so this did not affect my opinion of the show. I also knew that many of the songs, when recorded, were backed by a beautiful orchestra that I knew would not be there, but it did not matter. I loved every minute and wished they would have played longer (thus their age, past their bed time). I would go see them again and again if I could. They will always be my favorite!!

The Mahaffey Theater is a perfect venue for the Moody Blues. They played a solid set of about 2 hours, not including a 20 minute intermission. The past few years during the first half of the show they've been playing a more and more interesting mix of their wonderful older songs tunes that were heavy FM favorites but not necessarily on the Top 10 AM charts. This time, Peak Hour from Days for Future Passed and You and Me from Seventh Sojourn were special standouts. I wish they would return to Orlando to the Hard Rock Live -- last year we drove to Melbourne and this year to St. Pete. Hopefully next year they'll stop right here in Central Florida at the Hard Rock Live.

I really enjoyed this concert having been a fan of the Moody Blues since I was in Jr High in the late 80s. I came to know them when they had the single "In your Wildest Dreams" but a friend went with me who was old enough to know them from their younger days.

Everyone looked good, Justin and John's voices fantastically youngish as they belted out songs I knew and some I didn't. Graham didn't say much until the last part of the show and that's when I got to see just how crazy (in a good way) he was as he sang one song while strutting about the stage shaking a tambourine, river dancing and making like a kid pretending to be an airplane before he returned to the drums and literally tossed the tambourine aside. They had an additional drummer (don't recall his name) but he was awesome as was their flutist. She rocked during "Knights in White Satin."

It was my first rock concert and I enjoyed every moment of it!

I was never so glad that I decided to go to this concert. It was one of the best shows I have seen in a while. They proved that they can still play even though they are getting up in age. The woman playing flute was also fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone .

Average age of attendees was 65, however my 18 year old would have loved it! Today's "music" is mostly garbage, over-hyped celebrity stuff, but these guys were real artists and talented songwriters. There is no other music era than the 60's and 70's!

I have lost count as to how many times I have seen The Moody Blues, and the never fail to deliver a great show. The old pictures and video that runs behind them during the show is so impressive. Seeing how they have changed, as have I, is so cool. Going to a concert where the average age is *couh cough* is wonderful. Not having to fight for a spot on the rail and just enjoy the music is paradise. Thank you for a wonderful show and evening

As an age old R&R'er this is one of the few bands I had not seen but wanted to. They of course lived up to their reputation as one of the best shows you could attend. They were totally awesome and professional. Very engaging to the audience, they enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed them. First time in many years seen a band put on a light show with the psychedelic background and great sound. Brought back the late 60-70's era!!!!
The audience was very well behaved and respectful of this terrific act in a great cozy setting. The venue was great (1st time at Mahaffey) , totally spoiled _ not very anxious to go back to the St Pete Times Forum any time soon.

The music was WAY TOO LOUD for the venue. It hurt my ears and gave me a headache...so much so, that we had to go sit in the Mezzanine Lobby on a bench in order to enjoy the music. What a shame! We love the music and it was as it was back in the day, but way too loud. We were not the only ones who retreated to the lobby to listen. There were many others both on the mezzanine level and downstairs that were outside the theater listening.

As a 60's child, this concert brought me back to this era.. One of the best concerts I have seen in my life, and I have witnessed many greats of my generation. One of the only groups to sound as good as their recordings. I would go see them again.

The Mahaffy Theater is a very nice venue to see a concert. The Moody Blues played on March 17, 2013 and me, my wife and my mother had seated in the loge section. We all love the group but that night the music sounded muddy and the bass drum was way too loud, almost like the boom boom you hear in rap songs. They didn't mix the show well. Some times the keyboards were very low, the vocals were distorted and in the background to the music. I think they would have sounded better if they cut out the bass drum and had the volume of the instruments cut in half and then the vocals would have been clear.
