Favorite moment: Saturday NIght, Dig Up Her Bones, Kong at the Gates/Forbidden Zone, and Helena all in a row! @
Setlist: halloween, astro zombies, teenagers from mars, attitude, hybrid moments, saturday night, dig up her bones, forbidden zone, helena, twilight of the dead, land of the dead (brand new!), descending angel, we are 138, die die my darling, and a ton more! @
Opening act(s): Johnny B. Morbid - horror punks, a little rough sounding, but not bad
Municipal - awesome sound, great stage presence, but where was your merch table? also, i'm not sure if black shirt/red tie is their usual outfit or if they were dressed as alkaline trio for halloween. @
I got there just before Johnny B. Morbid went on, and they were alright. I felt kind of bad that the crowd didn't really respond that well to them, because they weren't bad. Next up was Municipal, and they were pretty awesome. Their singer had great stage presence and was a lot of fun to watch. I wanted to buy their cd, but when I went out after their set, I didn't see any merch for them, which was disappointing. Then came the Misfits! Of course they came out after the halloween theme and started off their set with Halloween. They played a bunch of songs without stopping and sped up a lot of their older tunes. Then there was a block of songs off Famous Monsters (my favorite!) which just made my night. My four favorites all in a row: Saturday NIght (which was phenomenal), Dig Up Her Bones, Kong at the Gates/Forbidden Zone (my absolute favorite), and Helena. They closed with Die, Die My Darling and Jerry Only stayed o sign stuff. I can't imagine spending mischief night any other way!
