I was disappointed that I sat in front of a screen to view the concert. I paid $100 for tickets which I couldn't see the artist in person. There was no introduction of the artist,he just st down and played. The showmanship was poor. His songs were few, 12, and the show was over in
55 minutes. Also it was outside and the seats were extremely uncomfortable. Not worth my time or the money. Need a more intimate atmosphere ,less cost and inside.

His voice is still as soulful and beautiful as ever. Even though he only performed about an hour it was worth it. The only thing that would have made it better for me would have been if he had played less Doobie Brothers songs and more Michael McDonald songs, but that's just my preference. (I really wanted to hear "All in Love" ) but he certainly can't sing all of his songs!. But I still enjoyed every minute of it and will go again!

It was great to hear the old songs, but the concert was way too short - about an hour. I paid quite a bit of money for an hour. Also, the sound system was not the best with McDonald's voice mostly muffled. There also didn't seem to be anyone assuring the different instruments were equally represented.

Favorite moment: Personal fav is Minute by Minute. Love that song. But I love all of his stuff. He just writes beautiful melodies and lyrics with meaning. @

I have seen him many times and he never disappoints. He played one great song after another. He has the coolest voice. I enjoyed his keyboard poetry. Nice guy. I like a nice guy. He's one of the good ones. We loved you Mike!! Can't wait for you to come back. He just walks out and sits down and plays . No back up band to waste my time with. He does his show and then he's out of there. It's done the way all musicians should do it. He's a cool dude!

Gave little effort for the money. Sound system made him seem muffled. A big fan going in and a disappointed customer coming out. Probably played about 1 hour and 20 and was just worn out.

Show was good, started a few minutes after 7 PM. Unfortunately, he was off the stage by 8:23. With his long music career I was thinking we would get more than an hour and 15 minutes. His voice still sounds good, band was good.

Michael sounded great, although he didn't play for very long. Belterra casino is not a great place for a concert. it is a smoke filled casino. We were hoping to make an evening of it with dinner and a bit of gambling, but we couldn't stand the smell of the casino, so ran out as soon as the concert was over.

Show was short and uninspiring. A walk-through. No encore. Political comments by McDonald just prior to the election were unwelcome and spoiled what little atmosphere remained.

Had second row center seats, the best seats I have ever had for any event. Michael was wonderful and his voice is still strong and great. My only complaint is that he didn't play long enough in my opinion. Could have listened to another hour! Would definitely go to see Michael again if I have the opportunity.

What would have been a highly recommended event became a 'wish we had left early' moment when the encore started with a political speech. We did not pay to attend a political event; we paid to be entertained musically. Unfortunate choice made by Michael McDonald.

Our first time at the Meadows venue started out on a bad note. At no time did The Meadows or Ticketmaster ever even mention that this was an OUTSIDE venue! That fine in the summer time, but not on a brisk September evening at 63 degrees. I had asked two different event workers how long the show was expected to last. Both of them said that the shows were usually two hours long. Having worked at the nearby Ampitheater/Pavallion venue for seven years, that seemed correct. And it would have taken about two hours for Michael McDonald to perform all his hits. So imagine our shock when, after beginning almost 15 minutes late, McDonald said "Thank you Washington and Pittsburgh!" We got up from our $50 metal folding chair and left.

Drew Zingg should play more as he is off the charts and Michael McDonald should dust off his vocal chops before he plays in front of 3000 people . His backup singers saved the day. Still an icon .
