It was a wonderful birthday!!!! We turned those box seats out... Suttle thoughts did a great job.. They definately turned the crowd up and started the party. Angela Winbush sounded just like all her albums and definately gave us a show.. She dropped it a few times and picked it up.. All white was definately the attire because this show was HOTTTTT.. Finally The Isley brothers did there thing.. They gave us all the HITS... Old scholl definately was in the house!!!!!

Get your tickets and go to this show.. I sure hope they come back to the DMV.....

The sound system was horrible. Facing the stage speakers on the right side apparently busted, because a loud boom sound happened in the first act. It continued the remainder of the concert..Terrible Sound Terrible Sound..Thanks..

I have to start by saying that I've never seen the Isleys although I've been a fan for 40 years!! Yes, and I am proud to say it too!! The show was everything I thought it would be and more. They stayed away from some of the more up-tempo songs, but we still jammed!! Ron is so cool and although I'm not a fan of 'Mr. Biggs' it was still entertaining. I'm from the era of 'It's Your Thang' ('69), 'Pop That Thang' ('72) - my grandmother hated us singing that song (LOL), 'Work To Do' ('71), 'Highways of My Mind' ('73), and all that good stuff. They did not disappoint. And OMG when Ron turned it over to Ernie for his famous guitar playing on 'Voyage to Atlantis' I thought I would start wailing right along with his guitar (LOL)!! I was 18 and just graduated from High School ('77) when that song came out and that was a summer to remember indeed! The Isley Bros. are the soundtrack of my young life.

This show was one of the best my husband and I have been to. Angela Wimbush was amazing. She still has a powerful voice. The Isley Brothers were excellent. Ernie Isley played the bass guitar with his teeth. A must see.

the home-grown stylings of SUTTLE THOUGHTs kicked off the evening and ended their set with a tribute to the GODFATHER of GOGO, CHUCK BROWN! next up, ANGELA WINBUSH and her astounding vocals! at a self -professed 58 years of age, AAAANGELA brought the energy! being the ever discriminate fashionista that i remember her to be in the past, i found her ill-fitting, loose white pant suit a bit distracting... BUT that had no affect on her performance or my enjoyment -- though i wish she'd chosen a sexier fabric to complement her amazing body! considering her health issues of the past, i was relieved to hear that her health is still great! I <3 YOU ANGELA! ..............NOW ENTERS MR. BIG! RON & ERNIE ISLEY seem to have not aged a bit! they gave me everything i wanted and then some! the SURPRISE BIRTHDAY SONG from RAHEEM DeVAUGHN was touching!

I was at first surprised that only about half of the auditorium was filled. Then when Ron Isley flirted with the scantily dressed non-dancing young ladies, I began to understand. He is not entertaining at all. Perhaps incorporating a couple of male/female professional dancers who can transform the sexy lyrics into visual art would be better. Angela Winbush was the best. The lady and her partners were excellent!!! Too bad the audience was not into her. I would pay to see her again.

This show had almost nothing to do with the Isley Brothers I remember. It was a single-artist performance of boring 1980s-90s RnB lounge songs. We walked out early. I think it was deceptive to advertise one Isley brother as the "Isley Brothers".

RON ISLEY DID A GOOD JOB BUT ON SOME OF THE SONGS HE SANG HE REALLY DIDN'T HIT THE HIFH NOTES LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSE TO. BUT HE TRIED AND I KNOW HE 'S NOT AS YOUNG AS HE USE TO BE ,BUT OVERALL I ENJOYED THE CONCET AND I WOULD RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO GO SEE THE ISLEY BROTHERS!!!!
