Favorite moment: When the Indigo Girls let the audience sing, the voices sounded so unified and sweet. @
Setlist: Shame on you, Sugar Tongue, Driver Education, Power of Two, Galileo, Chickenman, Dairy Queen, Fill It Up Again, Closer to Fine, I'll Change, Second Time Around, What Are You Like, Watershed, others from newest CD, etc. @
Opening act(s): Common ? This band was really good. Reminded me of Simon & Garfunkel. The only song I didn't care for was when they sang without the mikes. Couldn't hear them. @
Since I'd only heard of the Indigo Girls in midlife, I was blown away by their ability to cross over to a new generation. Last night I was probably one of the oldest attending the concert, yet had a blast and was happy to see so many young women and men. The Girls' music is soulful and rich. Amy and Emily harmonize beautifully. They exemplify the "power of two."
