That alien band "GWAR" has once again demonstrated that bloodletting can speak a volume in social commentary or perhaps it was just a stab at a stabbing as was how I saw it. Great show!

I own no Gwar albums and have heard no Gwar songs, but the stage show is the reason to go! Almost every song had a new character coming out onstage to get disembowled/dismembered/both, with fake blood spraying all over the audience. The crowd was crazy and the guys were endlessly offensive and entertaining. Best ten bucks I ever spent!

I've been to eight GWAR shows and for this being the 25th ANN. show I really was not too impressed! I mean don't get me wrong I love them but I've seen far better shows put on by them before. They played all new stuff, which is not like them. I love the old stuff it's the best, plus not to many props this time? What was that about?!?!?!

the worst organization regardind the entrance to the event doors opened at 7:30 with 2000 persons outside and requesting ID's , by tje time we enter the first group ended their presentation
Just for a cowboy - great perfomance one of the best

GWAR - didn't like it at all, they are more in to Shows with all those spil of blood , and puke to the people but music sucks!!!

which i will have time to see The red Chord i heard it was a good band , but maybe next time

25 Years of GWAR really shows in their production. It was most entertaining with an impressive setlist. House of Blues San Diego was a nice venue that featured clean audio and impressive effects. Good vibe due to a a solid core of GWAR fans in attendance.

I have never been drenched in so much fake blood in my life. It was a maelstrom of chaos and sex and violence. Limbs flying everywhere, space babies being impaled, presidents being decapitated, giant robots being disembowled, and lazer guns spraying green goo all over us. There is only one thing that can be said: GWAR

This was my first time seeing gwar live and it was amazing. This band rocked the stage and covered the bohabs with they're filth. I would definitely see them again and again and again. Next time I'm wearing white!!

The show was unbearably loud. I have been to a number of concerts throughout my life, and have never walked out on one until this one. I was standing in the back & litterally deafened by the 2nd song. There were no earplugs to be found.

For 25 years GWAR has been awesome. They put on one hell of a show and their music is kick ass. And they are not greedy like say Metallica and want to charge $150 a ticket. Bottom line is GWAR is awesome and always will be.

Gwar was an amazing experience, and full of laughs. It first starts off with a movie that is a parody of VH1's behind the Music only its called Behind the Murder, and then the show starts, and before you know it you are completely drenched in "blood" and watching some Scumdogians getting disembowled. My favorite part was their fight with Cardinal Sin, who infact is a 10 foot tall robot. The show kept me absolutely entertained through out the whole set, and for the cheap price of 20 bucks, Id suggest it to any metal fan.

I've seen Gwar 7 times over the last 20 years and maybe that's why my thoughts on last nights show were just "OK". I have several other shows to compare it too. Yes, there was plenty of fluids spewing from the stage. Yes, the use of the videos behind the band were a nice new touch. The stage antics and show "plot" were weak compared to previous tours. The song selection was fairly poor though they did cover a lot of new material. Maybe they're slowing down a bit - I know I am. After the show I thought to myself : was the show just a bit flat, or am I reaching a point were live shows don't stimulate me like they did in the past. Maybe the answer is yes to both. It was nice seeing such a young crowd there.
As far as the venue. I have never been to an event where they held the crowd inside the venue for 30 minutes after the show ended. I believe they would not let the concert goers out of the building until they had sufficient POLICE presence outside (about 20 to 30 officers) ! Is this what has happened to metal! The cops need to be present because they feel it was a hostile gathering? Most sporting events have more intense FANatics. From what I gathered, the crowd worked out all their frustrations INSIDE the venue.
If you've never seen Gwar - go! If you are a long time veteran of the band you may be a tiny bit dissapointed.
