As an old BOC fan, to see them again live was awesome. The set was way too short though. 5 songs. And that was it! No encore.
I was never a big Foghat fan back in the 70's. For some reason, I always related their music to seedy strip joints. Having said that however, Foghat definitely brought their "A" Game to the show. They were beyond awesome!! Their drummer, who I understand is the only original member of the band remaining, was really beltin' it out. The guitar work was mind blowing. And man they were tight. The set list for Foghat was also way too short. Which leaves me wondering, is this the norm for shows at the Hard Rock Live venue?? -I don't know.
As for value regarding ticket price relating to being satisfied, I and it seems to me, most people their were pretty disappointed that both bands, BOC especially, played only 5 songs. I personally think this has more to do with the venue. I paid $30 for the ticket, and the bottom line is, for what I got, it was too expensive. And I'm not blaming the bands.
Oh yea, I forgot to mention, the house lost power during BOC playing Godzilla. But quickly restored it.
