We attended the John Fogerty concert at the Arizona State Fair on Oct. 19, 2012. I was very excited about the concert, and could have attended free with the admission to the fair, but I wanted to be assured of great seats. I was waiting at my computer when tickets went on sale. I was blessed with center stage tickets in the 6th row! When the concert started, the fans in the first rows remained standing. I understand that they were enthusiastic fans, but the only way we could see anything on stage was to remain standing ourselves. I was very aware of the people behind me, and tried to sit down out of courtesy. I had to stand up, or not see. Thank goodness for tiredness. After a good portion of the concert, they finally sat down.
The concert itself was great. John Fogerty was fantastic. He played a few more long instrumental guitar numbers than I cared for, but overall, I loved it.
People please, if you're reading this, and you go to a concert. out of courtesy to others behind you, please, please SIT DOWN! Oh, and please don't forget to take off your cowboy hats.

Favorite moment: My favorite moment was when the people in front finally sat down, so I could see the stage! @
