From early in his career with CCR 'till now, Fogerty continues to contribute substatially with new material as well as performing a solid set of his hits. He still moves like a young rocker and his voice, oh that voice! He hits all the notes, high ones included! You can see, hear, and feel the passion he still has for his craft which seeped into every pore of everyone there that night transforming the crowd into a rocked out sing along on the countless hits that seemed to just keep rollin'.

the Buell Theatre was not a good place to attend a concert. The seats are cramped together, no leg room, and it was so hot in there it was unbearable.

The concert was great, John is always at the top of his game, however I would not recommend anyone attending a concert at Buell.

I was totally amazed! The sound was so great, his voice and guitar picking was awesome. My goodness, Hendrix has nothing compared to him. He played my current favorite from Buck Owens and he also played my Creedence favorite "Ramble Tamble"....John is a Rock N Roll icon!!

He is hands down the best guiter player out there. He switched guiters several times throughout the show. His vocals were right on and he didn't stop moving/jumping/signing/performing for two solid hours. He played all the old favorites and some new great songs too.

Wow, The silver heads in the audience were boppin and rightfully so. He did every song I wanted to hear except Suzie-Q. Fantastic vocals and guitar from John. Incredible drummer, and great band. My only disappointment was a couple of ho hum covers such as Garden Party, and a John Denver song that was such a snore I can't remember the name. We needed those moments to rest! Pleasant surprise was Keep on Chuglin. The crowd loved the top 40 stuff but I loved the rock.

You could say the band brought the house down. Opening with hey tonight you knew there would be magic in the music played tonight. The band had the house rocking, dancing, singing and enjoing life. Songs were played that I thought I would never hear again (The night time is the right time.)

Just about 2 hours of energy I have been to for awhile. The music was fantasic. John hopped around the stage as if he was 20 years old. Made me feel young again. I would go see him again. His back up band was out standing, the only thing negative was I think they needed to muffle the bass drum a little. It was over powering sometimes.
I would recommend it to anyone.

John Fogerty can go out on tour and just play his old music and make everyone happy. But instead of being the best tribute band ever he plays different songs and new songs and a great great band. Lots of CCR and rocked very hard at times. Also the best drummer in the land.

Fogerty was tremendous - voice is still great! My husband and I would go to this again next month if we had a chance. All the musicians were impressive. A high-octane, toe-tapping event.

John still has it at 64! His voice is still as it was back in the 70's.He had the crowd standing, singing and applauding on all of the oldie but goldie hits that Credence sang in the past. I would like to see him again in another concert.

This being the fourth time I have seen Mr. Fogerty, this was much different from the others. His other shows had a scripted feel to them; that is I felt like there was no deviation at all from a planned set list. This one had a spontaneous feeling about it. I may be wrong about that but it felt that way.
The set list itself was wonderful. 2 John Denver songs? Well I'm not a fan of JD at all. If I hadn't known who wrote them I'm sure I would have enjoyed them more. He did play a bunch of great stuff including all of the songs I had never heard before. Keep on Chooglin was easily my favorite but Suzie Q was also great. I think I counted close to 2 dozen songs. There were jam tracks, new and old songs, CCR and solo. In all very nicely balanced.
The drumer is top notch (his name escapes me.) The fiddle player was good also. In general though John was the only instrument out side the drumming, the pedal teel and fiddle that I could pick out. I attribute this to the mix. In fact the consensus with my friends (who sat in different locations) was that the mix was muddy at best. Its not the facility. I have seen Jethro Tull and Yes and the sound has been much better. It was still a better mix that a Rush concert (which have been horrendous for decades.) The mix is the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars.

I've seen John every time he's come to town all the way back to '69 when he was here with THE band.This time I was fortunate enough to see him from the 2nd row,in the "pit",at the State.The man never ceases to amaze me.I've seen a lot of shows in 40 years and I can honestly say nobody tops John.You ARE the man!
