The Doobie Brothers at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio was great. Just a little disappointed that the concert was only 1 1/2 hours. Did not think the Majestic was the right venue but the Doobie Brothers rocked it out anyways!

The concert was great, 2nd time in 2 yrs, First in C.C, Tx. , then in S.A.
But the show again was to short !!!! 1and a half hours. What ever happened to 2 hour. performances. Also, so many great songs from thier album, Which were once vices are now new habits? Some of the finest music they had composed at their peak.
We all waited to hear, Another park another sunday, and many others, but NADA!!
Anyhow, we still love the DOOBIES, play them all the time.

$85, yes, EIGHTY FIVE dollars for a squashed in but VERY close seat at the Majestic. GREAT close-up, but very uncomfortably squeezed into the seat, and I'm a normal sized guy. Concert began at 8:07, first encore was 9:10 to MANY boos, VERY course cussing from those around me, and unbelievable stares "this is IT?" "its over already?"

FIFTEEN songs, 4 of which were encores. (three unknown songs, one of the new ones was good, other two never EVER heard of, just barely so so...)

Sound ok, not bad, but not great. Monitor problems for the band, as they stated, and apparently didnt get resolved.

QUALITY of music and show was good... again not great, or even VERY good, just good. new keyboard dude incredible, their claim to fame double drumming? yawnnn... and I'm a drummer. VERY boring and not fun like back in the day. The "new" drummer was totally bored and it was so obvious he was just a "paid fill in". DOOBIES, you are GREAT memories, Amazing songs, I will always Listen To The Music, but tonight you totally ripped me off, in my humble opinion.

Patrick and Tommy rocked as usual, and Longtooth McFee was incredibly the most talented. Reverse to 1999, $45 at Cynthia Woods Pavillion to see Doobies open for Chicago and play almost as MUCH, then a full show by CHICAGO!!! FFWD ten years, DOUBLE the ticket price, and only one band.... RIPPED OFF. VERY disappointed, and totally surprised that this "fan based" band for so long, played such a short concert.

GROUCHY and VERY mean tee shirt hawker, over crowded, sold out sizes of best tee shirts, he didn't get ANY of my money the way he acted and the lack of service he gave.

VERY rude ushers made us feel like we were criminals just for trying to high five the band members. Those that were taking pictures were made to feel like FELONS. The ushers, probably as much as the ripped off SHORT concert, was the worst part of the evening.

Very good. Show started off with "Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me)" . Pretty much songs from best of doobies volume 1 cd with a few extras thrown in. Show lasted about 85 minutes.

I wish the concert was longer, maybe two hours, or at least more than an hour and 25 minutes. I wish they would have sung more of their older songs; didn't really care for the new. They really butchered black water and I was so looking forward to that one!

My only complaint was that the amps were turned up too high for the venue. It was actually painful, and the lyrics were inteligible only with ear plugs!! It would have been perfect for an outdoor event, but the acustics at tne Majestic were too good for their settings

I would have given it a 5 Star rating had it not been for the sound mix. The instrument mix was great - the vocal mix was not. Any song that had full instruments completely covered the vocals. The Doobies are about harmonies and I very rarely heard the vocals well enough to understand any of the words and sometimes could not hear the vocals at all. This is a major grooup that has been around for a long time and to not be able to hear the vocals is pathetic. I had a great time and really did enjoy the show. I just wish I could have heard the singing a little better.

Had a great time - the Doobie's still can play. It was like being back in high school - the venue was awesome. I wish they would have played a little longer - but Tommy Johnston and the guys are worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. I liked the fact that it was just the Doobies - they came out on time and never stopped!

The Doobie Brothers are my favorite band. I've seen them everytime they perform here in San Antonio. I Can heartly wait to see them again. The concert was't as long but they were great and played all their greatest hits . I'll be waiting for their new CD when it comes out. All their Albums and CD's they record are always outstanding. I know it's hard to please all your fans in the US but come here again . It seem my wish came true when I told my wife that I would to see you all and for sure here you were. I bought a shirt that I will wear for awhile but I'm going to frame for the memories.

Great show,only it felt rushed.No opening act and hardly any banter with the audience.I know it was a weekday with an older crowd in attendance,but the music was flowing well.So what was the deal?Did the band need their fix of the great mexican food in S.A sooner than later?

Good show, but WAY to short! Played an hour, came back for an encore for about 15 minutes and that was it. Sounded great, but not worth the money to see 75 minutes of singing.

Doobie Brothers put on a great show! Music was crisp and punchy...nice blend of all the top hits, along with a debut song. This performance rates as one of the best concerts we've been to in the past few years, and we've gone to all the classic groups that've hit San Antonio.

The Concert was at the IP Hotel & Casino in Biloxi and I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. The concert lasted for about 1 1/2 hours and was fantastic!! They played a few new songs along with all of their original songs and rocked the house. I just wish the concert would have lasted longer as we were enjoying it so much that we didn't want to leave. My husband said he hadn't had that much fun since he was 17 and was so glad he went. We can't wait for the new CD to come out and also the next concert!!

This show was just alright with me. The band sounded good, maybe a little too good, a little too perfect. Just seemed a little too "canned". But the performance was energetic and upbeat, everyone was in to it and the audience wasn't dissapointed. The Doobie's played everyones favorites and a few new ones. Vocals and music just like it sounded back in the day. I love it that these guys are still out there doing what they do so well. Seems funny not to see stacks of amps and equipment - just a little too clean on stage, almost corporate. One more note, this was the shortest concert I've ever been to. One hour and twenty minutes with a standing O. Yikes, home before the ten o'clock news.

Saw my First concert at Convention Center 1974, Grand Funk. Saw Doobies there in 1975. This was first event at Majestic, will not be last. Sound was off the chart. Up close and personal feeling. The old Rockers still Bring It! For the money, best show I've seen in 20 yrs. Sum it up- Damnitt Boy!!!

I was in the second row. The band was great but only played about 1 hour 40 minutes. Expected it to be longer.
Only gripe - the Majestic security goons - nicely dressed but became an annoyance anytime somebody got close to the stage. What did they expect? That 50 - 70 year old fans would rush the stage? Give us a break. I'm sure the Doobie Brothers wanted more fans to slap high fives with them. Let fans enjoy themselves and interact with the band.
Having the band that far back on the stage was semi-upsetting enough...security did not need to play the heavy.
Were photos allowed or not?
I did get a drum stick.......Rock on!
