Me, my son, my nephew drove 3 hrs. to see them and it was worth the drive, time, and money. We had so much fun and left with a picture with frankie banali and a guitar pick from dokken, omg simply the best concert of this year for me, can't wait to see them again.

Dokken rocked the house during their show! They played all the songs you've known and loved for the past 30 years. I kept reading these horrible reviews and was skeptical since I had never gotten the chance to see them play live before. I sure am glad I went to see them despite negative reviews, especially regarding Don's voice. Don is 60 years old and of course he can't hit the glass-shattering notes like he once did. The band had good chemistry together and this concert was even better than I expected. Support these guys and keep rockin' with Dokken!

Firehouse was great! They played all the old favorites, and the singer can still hit all the right notes! I was there to see Dokken though, and I was not disapointed. OK, it's true: Don Dokken's voice is SHOT... he can not hit the notes like he used to, and he seemed to be straining at some times. The band is without Jeff Pilson &George Lynch... so, it's almost like seeing Don solo. All that aside, I really enjoyed the show! They played all of the hits, and a few suprises ("Too High To Fly" from Dysfunctional has always been a favorite of mine, I was suprised to hear them play it.) They hit every album and phase of thier career, and the band was awesome! Great guitar player that makes you say: "George who?" I would see Dokken again in a minute, they put everything they had into the show, and really played their hearts out for the fans! I had a blast!

This was my first time seeing Trixter, in spite of following them since the '80's. They were amazing - all the notes, almost all of the hits - I honestly wish they'd had a longer set! They rocked!

I have to say the new lead singer for Warrant is AMAZING. Awesome energy, great stage presence, hits all the notes and really seems to fit with the band. They put on a great show! I'm not a huge fan of Warrant, but they are definitely worth seeing!

Last time I saw Dokken was about 10 years ago or so opening for Poison at PNC Arts Center. It was a great show. This show, was not. Don looks awful, and his voice isn't where it was. You can always tell when instead of hitting the notes, the mic is pointed at the crowd for the singing-along effect. He doesn't have the energy he once did. Frankly, we left early after he promised a "lonnnnnnng show." It was embarrassing.

We did bump into Trixter on the way out and got a few pictures. Other than Dokken, it was an awesome night!

Warrant was awesome!!!!! Robert Mason is a great addition to the band. Don Dokken was horrible he talks the words and because his voice is gone. Trixter is jst plain HORRIBLE!!!!

Opening act Trixter were solid. I am a NJ native and remember seeing them in small clubs before they got signed and sold a million records. The crowd was really into them, lots of local fans.
Warrant stole the show. Not so new any longer singer Robert Mason was amazing. I have seen the original and varied incarnations of Warrant with Jani Lane going back to their first tour, they never sounded better. Robert sings their classic songs like they were written for him and their new songs off of the incredible Rockaholic went over like gangbusters. If you have not seen Warrant with this line up, do whatever it takes to get there, seriously! During Cherry Pie, NJ native Fiona came out on backing vocals, man she looked amazing!
I did not stay for Dokken, which really should be billed as Don Dokken. I saw this line up a year ago and without George Lynch and Jeff Pilson, it is not Dokken. Plus, Don looks unhealthy, wears a wig and does not sing the classic songs well at all.

I waited 22 years to see Firehouse in concert. It was SO worth it! They are still amazing. The lead singer is hitting every one of those notes still and he really blew us away.

Dokken was also awesome. While Don Dokken's voice has suffered over the years the energy was palpable. I felt bad for him, as he was almost apologetic for not being able to belt it out like the old days. Instead the crowd jumped in and helped and we all had an incredible time. I would definitely see both of these bands again in a heartbeat!

Hence the 3 stars. Firehouse rocked it, and the drummer was just incredible. However, Don was disappointing. I feel bad for whatever he's dealing with to bring it to this point, but it was like listening to bad karaoke. We actually left when they started playing "Alone Again", even though it was the song I was looking forward to the most, because the general consensus of our group was, "Do you really want to listen to him hack it like this?".

First off, let's note that Firehouse has moved on to tour with Warrant and Trixter... SMART MOVE!

I was completely embarrassed for Don Dokken. I have a very open mind (especially as a KISS fan) for... senior... rock and rollers. But it is obvious when one should pull the plug and turn in their microphone for a golf cart. I know that there is nothing wrong in cutting back a key or two, but when the crowd is singing the song in a higher octave than the singer... well, I'm not going to go on.

Firehouse, on the other hand, were SMOKIN'! I have seen that band many times, and CJ Snare's performance at Hampton Beach was most likely the best that I'd heard yet. That man has some pipes! Bill Leverty can shred ahead of any. (I once introduced him to some friends as the guy that taught Eddie Van Halen to play guitar.) And Mike Foster obviously still has a love for his talent. Let's not forget that bassist Allen McKenzie put on a solid performance, as well.

So if you get the chance to check out Firehouse, MAKE IT HAPPEN. I feel bad for a friend in a local band, here in Maine, who is pumped to open for Dokken in Portland. Or maybe I should feel grateful for him. Beyond The Fall has much more talent at this point in music history.

Firehouse was great, sounded just like the old days...then came Don. I had read previous reviews here, but I was hopeful that people were just being extra picky since many years has gone by since Dokken's heyday. Unfortunately, the previous reviewers were right on the mark, Don has lost his voice. He does not hit any of the high notes and no longer seems to have the strength to even try. He relies on the audience to sing with him to make up for his voice. Rumor was that he was saving his voice for M3 in Maryland the next day, but I checked out those videos and he didn't sound much better.

The best part of this concert (aside from Firehouse) was that Dokken played all my favorites. From now on, I will listen to them on MP3/CD instead of seeing Dokken live, it was a complete waste of time. I love you Don, but please don't bother touring if you can't sing anymore.
