This concert was incredible! It truly is a celebration of life and music when you see David Byrne perform. I saw the first show of the tour at The Greek Theatre in Hollywood and it was fabulous then. Now after touring for approximately 9 months he, his musicians, and the dance troupe are magnificent . David Byrne mixes his new music with his Talking Heads stuff in such a way that it just flows perfectly into each other building up into an incredible crescendo at the end . There was never a dull or boring moment where you wish he'd just sing his old stuff. It was very much like a broadway show. He has truly become one of the most entertaining rock performers of our time. I only hope he will finish off the tour with another few dates in the US because I will be there. I urge you all to go. Even if you are not a fan of his solo work, you must see this ever evolving musical genius as It is always a guaranteed amazing show!

DB and Mia Birk were absolutely fabulous! I started to droop just a bit after Mia. It was all great information and I was inspired to actually do more than just ride the trails or road rides (which I did last Sunday - Peach of a Century down in Salem). I wanted to haul my bike out of my van and ride off into the sunset! Portland has done so much for the bike culture, but I think Boulder, Colorado should have also been included as a possible example, along with Copenhagen and Amsterdam.
Anyway, thank you so much! Maybe a quick Q&A after each speaker before going on would have been beneficial.
Being on the "other side of 50" I am very excited to see so many "of us" out there riding! The Springwater Corridor Trail is unimposing and quite a nice ride. I just wish they would finish the last 2.5 miles to Boring!
