I saw Jackson Browne at the Portland Civic Center in the early 90's. He was great then and maybe even better now. Seems like he hasn't aged a bit, though he doesn't try to hit the high notes anymore...not that that hurt his performance anyway. The songs are timeless.
He obviously still very much enjoys performing. He gave us a solid 2.5 hours plus 2 encores. His band was tight and the backup singers sang like angels. The venue was gorgeous.
I don't often give 5 stars on a review, but there was absolutely nothing about last evening that wasn't perfect.

What if you went to a concert.... and what if you could request songs to be played... and what if he listened.... and what if he played them? THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. What more can I say........

Great music, great sound, timeless!! I could have sat there and listened for another 2 hours. How anyone who's even just a fringe fan of JB, could not love his solo show is hard to comprehend.
