I bought tickets to Jackson Browne's concert so that I could bring my mom to see the show. She always listened to his music when she was in her twenty's. I personally have only listened to his stuff a few times in my life, but can honestly say that his concert was unforgettable! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and never wanted it to end. He had no set list, just played what came to mind or what was requested. He spoke of experienes and life, with humor, and is voice is amazing. Jackson Browne has an energy about him that is unexplainable. My mom commented that he sounds better now than he used to. He used a variety of guitars and played on the keyboard. It was a truly inspiring show. He is such a talented artist, it was refreshing to watch. Now I am going to purchase some of his CD's. :0) If you have the time, go see this concert, you dont want to miss out! Truuustttt me!

I saw Jackson Browne at the Portland Civic Center in the early 90's. He was great then and maybe even better now. Seems like he hasn't aged a bit, though he doesn't try to hit the high notes anymore...not that that hurt his performance anyway. The songs are timeless.
He obviously still very much enjoys performing. He gave us a solid 2.5 hours plus 2 encores. His band was tight and the backup singers sang like angels. The venue was gorgeous.
I don't often give 5 stars on a review, but there was absolutely nothing about last evening that wasn't perfect.

I absolutely love Jackson Browne and his music and have followed him for 40 years! He was amazinag, looked good, sang wonderful, and brought back such memories that I had long forgotten. This is the 5th time I have seen Jackson Brown, from Phoenix Arizona, Santa Barbara, California all the way to Orlando, Florida and I would go again tomorrow if I could!

We thoroughly enjoyed Jackson Browne's concert. He played mostly old songs with a few newer ones. The switch from guitar to piano was seamless and, even from row P, the sound was awsome. My only complaint is that there were some loud, obnoxious people behind us who talked throughout many of Jackson's songs and shouted extremely loud between songs. Also, too many people came in late and searched for their seats in the dark, making it difficult for many people to see the stage. It is rude and disrespectful to the artist to come in so late and is very annoying to other patrons.
Overall, though, I loved the show.

Overall, it was an enjoyable show. Jackson Browne is great, but we were a little disappointed that he didn't play more of his hits. That would have made it better even if they were in the acoustical version. The show was just a little too relaxing for a weeknight. Fortunately, I was lucky to be with a very special person who made the evening magical. Jackson gets three stars on his own, but the night was definitely 5-Star!

For a 40 year fan, this was a most memorable evening. jackson never missed a note, played for 2.5 hours and the playlist was as good as it gets. For a 60 something, he can out sing and out write any one living today. the fact that he still loves what he does is a testament to living life to its fullest every day.

I am just as old as Jackson Browne and have been a fan since the sixties. My wife and I first saw him live in New Jersey and we have most of his albums and CD's.
Upon seeing the ad for the concert, I initially thought that without his band the music would not be quite the same. Well, I was proved wrong, his acoustic guitar work and piano playing were quite remarkable and his singing was of high quality. The show was well arranged although the audience selected many of the songs, although he mentioned up front he was not prepared, he was in fact very prepared as he could sing and change in mid-stream to any of his songs using any of the acoustic guitars on display. He is a genius, a poet, a great musician and a man of true character.

The solo acoustic show was great, but the sound at Bob Carr was a little muddy. Browne was a little hard to understand when he spoke to the audience, I blame the equipment. Audience was a little rowdy, when you scream out "everyman" before each song, & it dosen't get played, give up & let others enjoy the show.

Loved the show. It felt very intimate, even with a couple thousand people there. He looks great and sounded great too and I enjoyed the informality of it. He played lots of past hits, plus some newer music - a nice mix. The guy behind me was disappointed he didn't play "For Everyman" as he yelled out his request between EVERY song break, but he was such a sincere fan I didn't even mind that! All in all, a wonderful evening.

The Jackson Browne Concert at Bob Carr was terrific. He played so many of his hits, and even did "Take it Easy". I loved it. I had not realized that this was to be a one man accoustic show, but it worked. Bob Carr was a perfect venue for such a show.

JB's overall performance was fine but I must have caught him on a night when my personal favorites were not in the set list. No "Somebody's Baby", "Jamaica Say You Will", "Load Out" or "Stay". There were others I would have liked to have heard as well. Also only one encore. Although not nearly full the hall still drew avid fans. I'm sure they all would have liked to see another encore.

The concert was so wonderful! He doesn't seem to have aged a bit and the songs sounded the same as they did 30 years ago! It was really a timeless feeling. Being a acoustacle type of performance gave it a more cozy and personable feeling. Fans were yelling out songs that they wanted played and Jackson Browne was more than accomodating. It was wonderful!!
