This is the second time I have seen Jackson Browne at this venue and I would gladly go again.. He is awesome by himself and even better with the entertainers he brought with him..

It has been a life long goal to see Jackson Browne. My father raised us on Jackson Browne, Harry Chapin, Eagles, Boston, etc...but Jackson Browne always has spoken to me with his lyrics. Because I had such high standards in music, based on the talent I was exposed to as a child, I thought it would be nice to commemorate this historic occasion in my life by getting my dad and siblings all together to enjoy my dad's all time favorite artist...and mine. What a gift it was for us to have this time together; remembering all that we shared when our family was young and whole. Thanks for the memory.

I bought tickets to Jackson Browne's concert so that I could bring my mom to see the show. She always listened to his music when she was in her twenty's. I personally have only listened to his stuff a few times in my life, but can honestly say that his concert was unforgettable! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and never wanted it to end. He had no set list, just played what came to mind or what was requested. He spoke of experienes and life, with humor, and is voice is amazing. Jackson Browne has an energy about him that is unexplainable. My mom commented that he sounds better now than he used to. He used a variety of guitars and played on the keyboard. It was a truly inspiring show. He is such a talented artist, it was refreshing to watch. Now I am going to purchase some of his CD's. :0) If you have the time, go see this concert, you dont want to miss out! Truuustttt me!

I saw Jackson Browne at the Portland Civic Center in the early 90's. He was great then and maybe even better now. Seems like he hasn't aged a bit, though he doesn't try to hit the high notes anymore...not that that hurt his performance anyway. The songs are timeless.
He obviously still very much enjoys performing. He gave us a solid 2.5 hours plus 2 encores. His band was tight and the backup singers sang like angels. The venue was gorgeous.
I don't often give 5 stars on a review, but there was absolutely nothing about last evening that wasn't perfect.

Wow!!!! Great show! Very intimate, personal evening with one of the greatest songwriters of our time. Jackson gave us 2 one and a half hour sets! Took requests and also let some of his supporting musicians take the spotlight. Great guy, great show.

2 sets with a 20 minute break, lots of music. He took a few requests from the crowd until it got out of hand. Great musicians and singers as well. Still has a great voice and of course has written so much great music. I guess it was great.

Unfortunately, the show started slowly and most of the audience was sitting on their hands while Mr. Browne played some newer material and other, older, yet unfamiliar work. It wasn't until the last 45 minutes of this 3 hour concert (including a 25 minute intermission), when he started singing his well-known rockers that the crowd finally came alive. After all, most of us baby boomers were there to hear Mr. Browne's biggest hits. He didn't even play Rosie! I give it a C+ rating.

This is the 3rd time I have been to see Jackson Browne. I live in Utah and flew to Pennsyvania last year for his acoustic show. It was great. My husband went with me to the show in Las Vegas and hasn't stopped talking about it! He had a backup band and they were in top form! It was so fun to hear his old songs, some with updated lyrics. They seemed to be having as much fun as we were. We are already planning on going to a show on his nest tour. I have never been to a concert where they played for 3 hours and I wish it could have gone on forever. The venue was great.

We saw Jackson Browne in February in Phoenix, and it was a great concert. He was very personable and was accompanied by Taylor Dawes (from the band Dawes) and an amazing electric guitar player and great drummer. Jackson sounds as good or better than he ever has and his wonderful lyrics are timeless! He also had about 25 beautiful guitars on stage, that were tuned how he wanted for different songs. The variety of guitar sounds really added to the songs, and was an interesting addition. I'm going to remember this concert for a long time.

This concert although advertised as Solo acoustic was so much more than advertised! He arrived on stage with a guitar player, keyboard player, drummer and backup singers and he performed a marvelous, entertaining show. He has come to realize his limitations, due to his advancing age and he has embraced the opportunity by allowing others to perform his songs with him to better the sounds than even the originals ( hard to believe that was possible). The rendition of I' m Alive might possibly have been the best I've ever heard. It was stunning, again thanks to backup singers. As an avid Jackson Browne fan, I am really glad I didn't miss this show in Reno, Nevada.

Wow! He opened with Black and White and then went onto that great introspective love song, "Call it Loan." After a newer song, a patron near the stage mentioned something about a friend passing away and suggested "For A Dancer." Browne put away the guitar and got on the piano to play the tear-jerker. He continued on from there.
His bandmates were great. Guitarist Val McCallum and multi-instrumentalist Taylor Goldsmith (From the Band Dawes) were phenomenal....the two ladies doing background singing were great, especially on the updated version of "Lives in the Balance." Drummer--excellent.

Artist and sound was great. what is annoying is that Jackson had to ask the stage director at 9:45 if he could play one more song.....he certainly wanted to play more. But, the casinos always require a 2 hour cut off....why can't Jackson and others be at the Pioneer Theater, Reno Events Center (downsized if need be)....??

Jackson Browne doesn't need to rely on huge video shows and fireworks. His presence and his music are that good. Excellent musicians one and all. Jackson's music and lyrics continue to be some of the best around and touch deeply the world we all share.
