This was the absolute consumate experience for a die hard JBJ fan! It was a small setting so very intimate, he talked about inspirations for songs, albums, the band. And being on a roller coaster in Disney World just hours before the show!
It was was a truly amazing night! Thank You AMEX!!

I was so fortunate to attend this private event at Alice Tully Hall and must say it was a memorable evening! Jon was so relaxed and spoke from a chair center stage about various experiences he and the band had been through and played at least six songs with his backup band members. They sounded amazing and Jon sang Superman and my all time favorite Hallelujah!! He had a great sense of humor and fielded questions from some audience members and you really got a sense of who he is and what he believes in. Someone asked what song he would want to be most remembered for and with hesitation he said it would probably have to be Livin' on a Prayer...it was pretty funny when he called out someone for getting up to go to the bathroom saying he had to pee too but he wasn't going anywhere. A great night...certainly a great way to "Make A Memory"!!!

This was an unbelievable evening. I had terrific seats, but the Venue was so intimate that anywhere would have been fine. Jon was so entertaining and humble as he spoke to Phil Griffin, the director ot the film they worked on together. Phil asked questions, and Jon elaborated with his experiences he has had during his 26 year career as a rock star. I was very touched. He sang a variety of unplugged songs, all so beautifully and entertained our request for "Superman Tonight" from his new album. He closed the evening with his emotional rendition of Leoard Cohen's "Hallelujah"...... The show was a solid 2 hours.. I'll never forget that evening.. Thanks Jon... xoxoxo

This event was a once in a lifetime event. It was great to listen and gain an understanding to song lyrics and band backgrounds. Incredible setting for a different type of experience with Bon Jovi. This was a special event in a very intimate venue. It was far from the loud crazy Bon Jovi events the fans are used to, but I am sure no one minded the change ! I Am so glad I was a part of the event and to top it off, the proceeds went to charity and guests were given great giftbags to top off the great night!!

I have gone to a lot of concerts since I am a big fan of music and a die hard Prince fan. I have to say that one of the best shows I attended was last night's Bon Jovi performance at the Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center.. He played an intimate acoustic set of some of his hits mixed in with some of the new songs from his current cd, "The Circle." The band was not the band he usually tours with and it included a violin player who was excellent. I wish I had jotted down her name. He spoke to the audience between songs and he sat for a Q & A with the Director of his documentary, "When We Were Beautiful," and later answered some questions from the audience. We were sent home with a goodie bag consisting of his new cd, the documentary dvd, and the coffee table book both entitled"When We Were Beautiful." I have to say that this perfect rock star is still very beautiful.

JON BON JOVI is simply the BEST!! The fact that he was in Disney World riding a roller coaster in the afternoon and flew to NYC for this event, leaving behind his family, is amazing. This is why I admire him and his music, which is uplifting and positive, amongst other music which is not. This is why Jon is still rockin' after 25 years! The set list was great, and the fact that he sung Superman Tonight off The Circle, accustic nonetheless, as an audience request is why he remains loyal to his fans - and in return - his fans remain loyal to him. JBJ FOREVER!

Very special evening - very adult. Loved the Q&A format - got to know him as a person. Only regret is that he didn't sing a few more songs. The unplugged format really showcases his talent. It was a very personal experience, being in a 1000 seat theater vs. 65,000 seat arena. Thank you for this...

The show at Alice Tully Hall last night was a great time enjoyed by an exclusive group of American Express card holders and friends. Jon Bon Jovi put on essentially a private showing with questions and answers from his Director and audience members at the end. The audience questions were mostly women who have fawned over Bon Jovi for 20 years and could barely keep it together when they got to ask Jon a question. He played 9 songs, all acoustic including Livin' on a Prayer.
You really got the feeling that this was a break from the 20,000 to 60,000 crowds he is used to playing in front of and he was able to really connect with his audience. He had 1,086 faces (audience size at ATH) and he rocked them all. Jon closed the show with "Wanted Dead or Alive" and said, "This one's for you Richie - where ever you are".
If you were a long time Bon Jovi fan, it was a personal experience not to forget.
After the show, all attendees received a nice gift bag with Jon's new Book, the new album, "The Circle" and the DVD Documentary, "When We Were Beautiful".

I have seen him in all venues, large, small, indoors and out, this was the first time I have ever seen him like this and it was amazing for a true fan to catch the "real" him. Although I am sure his answers and the questions asked were staged, it was still nice to listen to his answers. Even nicer was being able to hear him, this was the first time I can ever remember seeing him live where I could actually "HEAR" Jon sing and not the audience. This show was not for those that want to get up on their feet and sing and dance, but for true fans to get to know one of their favorite artists.

This was a night of a lifetime. From the beginning where we saw a taste of the wonderful Movie When We Were Beautiful, to the last question of the night it was all magical. Jon's voice was in perfect tone, every song was a treat. He smiled and laughed and related to the audience like we were all long lost friends. I had such a fantastic night. I wish that it has been recorded and could be shared with the world. What a great man Jon Bon Jovi is. Thank you so much!
