I am 30 years old and love classic rock. I find myself listening to songs older than me quite often. It is the only music that is real to me. The Black Crowes give me hope that a band can just play from the soul and know that their fans will be there. Seeing The Crowes is a high in itself......................they are real.

This show was absolutely amazing and definelty worth the money. Chris Robinson came out with a very ethusiastic attitude. Dancing around and joking with the band(between songs) making the experience for the fans even better. You could help but leave with a smile on your face. And that was just because of the band!!!!!!!! The opening band Truth & the Salvage CO is produced by Chris R and they are just as good as the Black Crowes in my personnal opinion.

This veteran band should be embarrassed at the performance they put together at the Nokia. Total crap. The opening band blew them off stage and they were mediocre.

The Black Crowes are one of the very best bands to see live! At this show they played a really great mix of new material with the standards that everyone knows...and they didn't even play 'She talks to Angels'- THANK GOD! The Showbox is a wonderful place to see them play too, very intimate and fun. The crowd at this show was friendly and really there to feel the spirit of the music. I can't wait for them to return!!! I was thrilled to catch a pick from Rich Robinson, in my cleavage no less; but my most memorable moment was when they played "Wiser TIme", it was pure perfection.

Being a big fan of The Black Crowes' music I was very excited to see them again; and they didn't disappoint. As always they looked great, they sounded great and they played a wide range of their large catalogue, and a couple of covers; which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would like to have heard, was a little more of their new album. Before the Frost... Until the Freeze... has some of the best new music that i've heard in quite some time. It deserves to be played live in front us Crowes fans.

This was the perfect venue to see one of the Greatest Rock n Roll Bands!!! SO much better than a House of Blues. I was GA on the floor and I have never been closer to the Crowes with as much space to dance...EVER!! So many nice little nuggets were played. I saw them the week before in San Diego, and it was good but this show was GREAT!

While we liked their new music the Black Crowes only played one or two of their greatest hits. They play mostly all new music that we weren't familiar with. I felt that was a bit selfish on their part. The crowd was hungry for the oldies. What's up with that Robinsons?

I understand that every band wants to introduce their fans to some of their new or rarely played music but I only heard one song I recognized (Jealous Again). Great song but they have so many others (Remedy. Hard to Handle, She Talks to Angels, Twice as Hard etc) and never touched them. I won't be paying to see them again. Fans go to hear all of it, not just what the band selects. They need to remember who pays their bills. I already told my friends not to bother because they were a waste of money. Glad no one could make it when I invited them.

Around 2300 people, a dimly lit room, and then the opening notes of Good Morning Captain begin the best Rock N Roll show you will ever see. The smell in the air and the people around you are a sure bet that the music is good. The crowes were great as always. They were definitely showcasing the new album. Which I understand but at the same time I want to hear the classic favorites that made them who they are today. no remedy, she talks to angels, twice as hard, hard to handle, thorn in my pride or black berry. also nothing from Lions.

This is my 3rd time seeing the crowes in concert and I always will recommend and support them. Their stage presence was awesome and Chris was as energetic as you will ever see him.

Robinson's voice is absolutely amazing and just as perfect live in concert as a recording (it definitely was a LIVE show) - but I have to admit,

I was very disappointed in the show overall.

First, they are a great bluesy rock band and if you like watching musicians make music, then the show is perfect for you. However, I wanted to be entertained, and The Crowes just are not performer-type entertainers. Comparing just The Black Crowes to Kid Rock, hands down, Kid Rock is much more entertaining.

The band was excellent, vocals and solos were spot on, but they did not play any of their old stuff, or maybe I should say they just didn't play what I wanted to hear them play live for me.

I wanted "Josephine, Blackerry, Seeing Things For The First Time, Twice as Hard, Hard to Handle, Evergreen, Locust Street, Remedy, Sting Me, Bad Luck Blue Eyes Goodbye, Kicking My Heart Around, Only a Fool, By Your Side, Sometimes Salvation" .... more, and more, and more. I knew the words to only two songs they played in the set!!!

I left feeling hollow and unsatisfied about the five hundred bucks we spent on tickets and one hundred and fifty that we spent on Black Crowes shirts and souvenieres.

Next time, I'd like to see a set list before I actually plunked down that much money for entertainment during a recession.

Incredible show but the last three So. Cal performances didn't have "Hard to handle" or "She talks to Angels" in the set list! What's up with that? Anyway The Crowes had the crowd rockin' from start to finish and I for one don'tintend to EVER miss a tour!
