I love the Beach Boys, I first saw them in 1989 at the LA Coliseum during which part of an episode of 'Full House" was taped! I recently saw them in May at a theater in Downtown LA and they still sound so amazing that I bought these tickets right when they went on sale. I was thrilled to be sitting 2nd Row from front stage! Mike is still an amazing frontman and mixes humor in between the songs of Surfing, Hot Rods, and girls. He and the band offer a vIbrant sound and great energy and it was wonderful to see Bruce at the keyboards and take the lead on 'God Only Knows'. Bruce has had some amazing vocals with the band since he joined in '65, just check out some of the late 60's and early 70's albums and check the writing credits. I will definitely see the Beach Boys again and I already have my tickets for Brian Wilson this December in Agoura Hills, he also does an amazing show of Beach Boys and solo songs...

We had 2nd row middle stage tickets. Sound and the view was fantastic. I was aobutr 20 when the beach boys first came to be and I fondly remember their early songs. When I was 22 I was drafted and went to Vietnam, again thier tunes went with me in my head and when ever we could hear them on the servicemens radio. "good morning Vietnam"

What a memory trip....

The Beach Boys and Pablo Cruise were totally awesome!!! They both put on a great show! The only problem was that the audience there is used to sitting down for concerts and sat through all of Pablo Cruise show and most of the Beach Boys show except for the two times Mike Love got the audience to stand up!!!!!. There were some brave people standing up on the side, and I am proud to say I was one of them! Security kept giving us the evil eye look and we were grateful they didn't toss us out for not sitting down! How can you go to a high energy show and not stand up! The audience was full of people of all ages so age shouldn't have mattered.! If it was the symphony, that would've been acceptable, but at a fair? Come on! I think Mike Love finally gave up getting the people to stand after they sat again- after his 2nd attempt to get them on their feet. I felt bad for the entertainers, because in general, their energy feeds off of the audience's energy. It's so hard to be energetic when people are sitting in seats with arms folded looking like they wish they were somewhere else. Both groups had performed their hits pretty much non stop without much talk to audience. I really enjoyed the show, but won't go back to the venue unless rules are changed.

What a great concert! Hit after hit! I'd actually forgotten a few of their hits and boy did it bring back memories! They never stopped. Even though some of the faces have changed over the years, the harmonies that made the "Beach Boys" are better than ever. This was the best! Looking around you saw young and old singing with their familiar toons. It made me proud to be a California Surfer Girl!

original lead singer and keyboards dude been with around 20 yrs.
fun show and most of us danced all nite.
sounded great standing in 1st row of the grandstand. nobody telling us to sit down.
in memory of dear friend neil nichols, a big beach boy, had to go and glad i did.

With many of the original Beach Boys gone and playing for heavenly choirs, or spun-off due to legal issues, this is the most unforgettable performance of the last of the original Wilsons. But the siblings of a few of the originals, who are now in the group, keep them alive in an outstanding performance. No one will be disappointed! Ever! Long live the beach boys!

Great to see kids from under 12 to over 70 clapping and screaming TOGETHER as hit after hit for each generation rolled over us like a perfect wave on a warm day at the beach. Some swallowed back tears of friends gone from the line up while others did hand jive with mom or grand mom. But most of all we all were together in "OUR ROOM."

What a wonderful show at a perfect venue. Being outside was awesome. The sound was perfect. Brought back wonderful memories. Nice to know that my sons enjoyed them as much as I did, despite the age difference. Timeless music. Thank you so much!!

I have attended many beach boys concert and they keep getting better and better. I was a little sad John stamos wasnt there however perhaps next time. I just wish the concert went on and on without ending but, all must good thing must come to and end. I cant wait till next year. thank you so much.,

The Beach Boys have a music catalog that is very impressive. The songs bring back memories when it seemed life was a little easier.

But that was 25 years ago. I've grown up and have gotten a little older. So have Mike Love and Bruce Johnson, the only two original members of the group.

It was great listening to the old songs again, unfortunately Mike Love's voice is not what it once was. He sings every third song while the much younger band members sing the rest. He's able to belt out some songs with ease, while struggling to hit some of the notes on other songs. Bruce sang "God Only Knows" and was able to hit about 50% of the notes.

It wasn't a bad show. They sang ALL of their hits...which was what I was hoping. I guess my expectations going into the show were a little higher than they should have been.

The songs of the Beach Boys will live forever. But it may be time for them to realize that retirement might be a good option.

Though the current Beach Boys have only two of the players from those 60's days in the sun, the band is still pleasing the crowds and myself. I love these guys and the toe-tapping songs they sing. Mike Love and Bruce Johnston add their personalities and leadership to the concert but are great at acknowledging the talented players backing them up. It was a great evening of classic surf music!

The Beach Boys show was only so-so. A luke warm performance. The Beach Boys appeared bored.
The music was good. All the hits were performed. Since Brian Wilson was absent, the true talent is missing.
But overall worth seeing.

This is the second time I have seen the Beach Boys in the last few years. The first time we got a suite and saw them at Humphrey's by the Bay in San Diego, stunning outdoor venue on an early summer season night. All the "boat people" on the bay also enjoyed their great high energy show.

This past time I paid premium price for some nice seats at the Valley View Casino Outdoor Ampitheater. It was another warm night, end of summer and the setting was in the hills north east of San Diego on a starry night. The show was great (Valley View Casino however is small and isolated and was not equipped to handle the crowds coming and going from the venue on their property). Go see the Beach Boys but plan ahead and go to a nice venue., outdoors recommended.

The Beach Boys sound fantastic, just like the old days, lots of energy, kept the crowd going and on their feet. At Valley View, we had a nice area to dance during the concert, something that Humphrey's didn't have. We go to at least a half dozen concerts a year all over the Southwest, and the Beach Boys have to be one of our favorites.

Truly impressed by the show put on by The Beach Boys! They were terrific!
They were also a real value. Tickets cost only half as much as the Donna Summer show two nights earlier, but The Beach Boys were more than twice as good as Donna Summer.
Wonderful, memorable songs, wonderful execution.
Our seats were only fair, far off to the left side, but due to the wonderful show we still had a really great time.

theses guys are so playful and they r really fun to watch tho there are only 2 originals the replacements sound so great! i was really impressed. the first time i saw them in may i was estatic cuz john stamos was playing with them at the time! the second time unforutnatly he was not, but they still rocked!
