My husband and I truly enjoyed the concert. Our only complaint is that Anita's time was much too short. She should have arrived on stage earlier since the Hollywood Bowl has to shut down at 11 PM. Other than that, we enjoyed the preformance.

Anita Baker has not missed a step! She is simply gorgeous and has a voice like and angel. Which is what i expected. I also expected a very good show and I was very pleased. What I didnt expected was her spirit that shined through her music and most of all her presence.

She seem soooo happy and sooo at peace. She made me feel that all was happy and well in her life. It was very contagious. I heart felt so much warmth just watching her on stage. I left there not feeling in love with my boyfriend, but as if I fell in love with Anita all over again! all was right in my world.

She is definately a beautiful and classy lady! Thank you Anita for blessing us with your presence, your gift and your love. We love you.

Unforgettable night! I was probably the youngest fan at the bowl! Anita Baker and Esperanza was an example of Gods gift to music. These ladies voices are pure! They sing with ease and grace that easily put their listeners in a trance. As mentioned, even though I was the youngest on there It was evident that her music transcends across age, race, gender, and creed. Kuddos to you two lovely women!

Setlist: Some oldies which I appreciated. @

Opening act(s): Sweet Love! AFTER a lot of "testing" with the sound people. Looked off stage and also hd her back to the stage more than to the front. Bummer! @

Unfortunately Anita was unprepared at San Manuel Casino Thursday night. I am a big fan of hers, but I was disappointed. The whole night she was trying to get the sound correct. It did not start on time at 7:30pm. Started at 8:15pm without rehearsal because she apologized due to the fact that she was late driving to San Bernardino. I pay to see a "Concert" not a rehearsal!! she was VERY tired and frustrated. Had a concert in LA the night before, they got the best of her. She didn't have any energy left over for the Inland Empire which is discouraging.

other then the parking situation, which forces people to leave early to catch their buses, it was a 4 star show. i'd love to have seen more of the fabulous Ms Spalding. I am already looking for Ms Baker's tour. She sounded great.

It was a great concert! Was really happy to see Anita Baker back on the scene and she brought a couple of her friends with her (Tamia and Lela Hathaway). I only wish Esperanza Spalding would have sung some of her cuts from her Grammy winning album from 2008, nonetheless, she too was phenomenal!!!!

Surprised my husband for his birthday, and took him to see Anita Baker. Her songs relate to our relationship. We just love her! Was very impressed with her knowledge of sound
acoustics. Hearing the right pitch and working it out with her technician so we would have a great concert..Would definitely see her again!

The concert was nice, both Anita and Esperanza sounded good live. Anita's set felt a little short, it would have been wonderful had she been able to perform more songs. Overall, it was a good concert.

Very disappointing performance for a beloved singer. She was almost an hour late, which we would have forgiven if she delivered. We had terrific seats, close to the stage, which we paid dearly for, as well as an extra 12 dollars to get onto the fairgrounds to attend the concert! All she did was fiddle with the sound equipment. If I didn't know better, it was like a rehearsal, and a poor one at that. I think she might have sung one song. We left before the encore. Disappointing is an understatement!!

Arrived 1 hour late so not enough time for audio/sound checking prior to concert. I guess the performance is in-line with the cheap concert ticket price. Anita had a few shining moments but the distractions outweighed the bright moments.

Such an wonderful concert!

Anita Baker has a voice that is unique and simply amazing. This was my first time seeing Anita Baker live and I'm so glad it was at the Hollywood Bowl. She is an unaging songbird. Singing classic hits and giving the audience nice surprises with the guest singers who can share the stage with her vocally. Anita Baker still shined the most through the night with her mellow, jazzy and sultry voice.

It was a pleasure to hear Esperanza Spalding live. She is another great singer and musician. I loved the way she handles a guitar. Loved her cello solo as well.

Great quartet of singers...fantastic night of good music.

I would love for Anita Baker to sing again at the Hollywood Bowl!

This was a perfect summer night in southern California, I am a new fan to Esperanza and love her performance and passion. I am an old UBER fan of Anita Baker and have not seen her live since the early 90's! I was enthralled! Ms. Baker has not lost an ounce of her flavor or magic. Kudo's and I'm looking forward to both these artist at any future venues I can catch them at. ESPECIALLY Anita Baker.

The concert was amazing! Incredible voices from both Esperanza and Anita, as well as their backup singers!!! We had a long wait .... very long....between the two segments (over 35 minutes), but the music was worth the wait. The talking behind us (louder to be heard over the music) and singing by people next to us were sometimes hard to deal with but, overall, it was a very positive experience!
