Anita Baker has not missed a step! She is simply gorgeous and has a voice like and angel. Which is what i expected. I also expected a very good show and I was very pleased. What I didnt expected was her spirit that shined through her music and most of all her presence.

She seem soooo happy and sooo at peace. She made me feel that all was happy and well in her life. It was very contagious. I heart felt so much warmth just watching her on stage. I left there not feeling in love with my boyfriend, but as if I fell in love with Anita all over again! all was right in my world.

She is definately a beautiful and classy lady! Thank you Anita for blessing us with your presence, your gift and your love. We love you.

I have seen Anita in concert several times and she never disappoints. Although she seems a little tired as this was her last show of the tour she still performed with excellance.

It was great!! After waiting 40 mins. for what i was told to be sound problems,I was not disappointed.This was my 4th time seeing her and it gets better every time.Did wish we had that extra 40 mins. of her singing.With her soulful voice and moves that didn't quit,she was memorizing.I couldn't take my eyes off her,and my ears were in heaven.She was out there enjoying the fans and the band.I love that about her..When she sings ,she gives a bit of herself.This was my 4th time seeing her and it gets better every time.Did wish we had that extra 40 mins. of her singing.After the 2nd time seeing her i made a myself a promise that i would only see her in the pit so i could feel her energy up close.Boy was i right.We even got to go back to the VIP lounge.I was only disappointed that i didn't get a chance to meet her face to face to express what her music has meant to me for the last 23 years,We did get to meet Tyrese ,Duke,wondrful back up singers,and who i would call her #1 fan at his 43rd Anita Baker concert.Her energy from the concert was beaming still through every one in the room .It was one of the nicest days ever.I will be there the next time Anita Baker is in the LA area.Wouldn'T miss it for the world.

I've always wanted to see Anita Baker live since she is one of my favorite female singers. I aslo wanted to experience the Nokia since I know many top artists perform there.

I thought the concert was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Anita sounded great and I could tell the audience really enjoyed the show as much as I did. She sang most of the songs from her Rapture CD and they sounded even better live. I liked her longer intros into the songs since they seemed fresher. She was actually better than I thought she'd be and I was expecting a lot.

The only drawback was the sound system was too lound for me. Especially since I was seated close to the speakers. However, I don't blame Anita fior that.

I absolutely would see this concert again and i can't wait until she comes out next year. I would highly recommend the concert to anyone who enjoys good music. and fun evenings. Thank you Anita and hope to see you soon

Anita started late and apoligized without ever say why. I believe she was high because the first 40 minutes of the concert she never opened her eyes, she did everything but sing her songs and to her own admission she said she was gitty because this was her last concert. Eventually Anita woke up and sang very well. She took the LA crowd for granted with a poor performance and even referenced her previous night concert at the Indian casino as referenced to a long schedule.
In summary, don't sell tickets and show up with a poor performance. Otherwise return the money and stay at the casino and gamble or be the sports mom that Anita referenced to and go to soccer practice.

Anita is great of course. Although this performance she seemed quite tired and did not perform her usual full show. I don't remember a warm up act, not that George Duke should be a warm up. Duke was excellent fun. His music, antics and the like were very fun. Just we came to see Anita and not only did George Duke play for an hour, we had to wait another 40 minutes before Anita begain. Not good. I was actually quite angry at that.

My first time seeing Anita Baker - will not be my last! She shines! Sounds great if not better than the record - if that's possible. I was in awe! My only regret is that she wasn't on long enough. I also missed some of the hits like Body & Soul and I Apologize.

far too much chit chat and not enough performing....singer talked about how tired and exhausted she was..if not up to performing, should retire and not take good $$ for a midiorce performance ..too much parading back and forth across stage

last year's performance was by far superior...
scenes of water background during and on stage was or did not look very professionally don e..
this is my last A. Baker concert!!!!

The sound system was sooo loud my husband and I felt the pounding in our chest. We love Anita and looked forward to her performance and we were very disapointed because of that. My husband plays her tape so much it has worn down and skips. We really missed not hearing her talented voice.

She still has it! Her voice brings tears to your eyes. Her skill is unmatched. Her voice is unique and a rare treasure to have on this planet. Music is supposed to touch the soul. As a 23 year old in 2009 my generation of music has really gotten away from that idea. Anita took me to a place I've never been before. Her voice brings joy, tears, sheer happiness. It makes you remember, hope, love. You name it! And she lets her personality shine. She's not afraid to be herself and I love her for it. She talks to her audience, gives us wisdom. There is no word that decribes how wonderful the concert was for me and my significant other. Amazing just doesn't do it justice...

The concert was outstanding!! I loved every minute of it!! I enjoyed the concert this time even more than i did the first time I saw Anita Baker at the Nokia. The sound was extremely better. I could hear everything, from the musicians to the singers!!

Anita Baker put on one of the finest ,most intimate concert
shows I have witnessed. George Duke was like Uncle George
the people were connected young and old alike .
Overall a fantastic show
