Featured Review

Finally seeing this band at the age of nearly 48 gave me reason for excitement. Seeing them in such an intimate setting with amazing accoustics and energy was over the top! Kate Pierson's voice left me speechless and the bands energy proved that age is truly the state of one's mind giving me good reason to pause in 2010 and re-group my thought process! Can't think of a better way to ring in the new year and decade! It might seem strange to many how The B52's could help change someone's perspective on life but trust me, it's happened and that is priceless...just as the concert was!!!!
Have a chance to see this band? GO!!!!!

Amazing how good the voices are after all these years. That guitar work that mixes surf with power new wave that ended up defining the early 80s. Only wish they had more time to play, and perhaps some banter with the audience about how those song came together.

It was great to finally see the B 52s for my first time. They sounded amazing! Some of the songs in the middle of the setlist made me a little sleepy, but I guess that was a good time for a bathroom break. Wish they would have played "Strobelight" and "Dance this mess around". Also it would have been cool if Cindy Wilson would have moved around the stage so everyone could see her.

Saw the B's Fri night and they just weren't the same without Keith : (
Overall the show was fine and no knock on their new, young lead guitar player. I envied him up there and he seemed to be enjoying himself. However, Keith's presence was missed; especially since he has been there from the start. I last saw them at Pechanga in Temecula in 2011 and they were much more like themselves. More energy..... just themselves. Also it sounded as if Cindy & Fred might have been sick.....
Still loved seeing them though and thinking that their touring days may be numbered : (

It was nice to see them again. I saw them about 25 years ago in NY and they were just as good this time as they were way back then! It was a fun show and the venue was great!

Berlin kicked off a fabulous night and rocked their hits and a few newer songs. Terri was stunning and sounded amazing. The band was tight and the sound was mixed great.

B52's rocked their hits and numerous songs from their most recent album "Funplex". There were some definite issue with the sound mixing, but it still was fun and the band was clearly having a great time.

The B-52's have been on my 'need to see' list for a while. I have enjoyed their quirky, off-beat music for some time now. This was their 35th Anniversary tour and if you thought that meant that they were ready to be put out to pasture then you would be wrong! Starting with Planet Claire, it was obvious that they still had it. Kate and Cindy's vocals soared through their gorgeous two-part harmonies, Keith rocked the guitar, and Fred entertained as only he could. Kate danced throughout the entire show and really was the centerpiece to me. Cindy didn't participate in the on-stage antics much but her voice is so wonderful and the passion still shows after all these years. It's amazing that a band can sing songs from the late 70's and early 80's and sound just like they did on each respective song. There were five of their most recent songs from their 2008 "Funplex". The audience seemed to be almost as in to those as much as their classics. I would have even added "Pump" back in to the setlist if I had the choice. The audience was clearly into the music as they were dancing the entire time (another memorable moment was during "Rock Lobster" when Fred screams "Down! Down! Down!" the entire theatre got down to the ground.) It's nice when a band can live up to expectations that were high to begin with and they seemed very gracious as well. Bottom line: The B-52's will knock off your socks and rock your wig off!

Concert was great. The road to get to our seats was ridiculously long and hot. We were drenched once we got to our seats and so was everyone else. It was too hot out for them to make people walk this far just to get in. Berlin and Terri Nunn were great! Would love to see them again. My wife liked the B-52's though not as much as she thought she would.

Small venue, somewhat older crowd & the best party band on the circuit. B52s rocked the house and had everyone up and dancing. Saw them in Denver 2 years ago at the Fillmore but this was way better.

My first time seeing the B-52's. I've been a fan since the 80's. It was a blast to see them in person performing some of my favorite songs. They opened with "Planet Claire", which brought back fond memories of my youth! My wife and I had a great time!

Terri Nunn of Berlin was AWESOME!!!! I wished she could have stayed on longer. Years ago Berlin was my 1st concert so this brought back a lot of good memories. She still sounds and looks fabulous!

The B-52’s were great too. I just didn’t know all their songs as well. It seemed like the music would sometimes overpower their vocals. Which made it kind of hard to hear what they were singing.

Over all it was a great concert. I loved the end when Terri Nunn came back out for the finally. That was really cool!!
