Featured Review

Great set. Something for everyone from casual fans to hardcore followers. Adam and his band looked good and sounded great. Venue was a little cheesy with folding chairs, but the sound was quite good. Hard to believe that Adam has been away for so long.

Really great show! For a guy about to turn 58, he still has all the moves and sex appeal as he ever did, and hearing the rarer originals from "Dirk Wears White Sox" as well as the chart toppers like "Strip", "Prince Charming" and "Stand and Deliver" really made for a truly entertaining evening. If you get the chance, you have to see him to believe it...

I have been a Ant fan since the late 70's, when he was with the Ants. I enjoyed the show, but didn't understand what the deal was with the dancing Girl on the stage (who added nothing to the show) and why he scooted off stage so fast... Most of the older performers usually stay around or atleast "show" a bit more respect to their fans..

I understand that we may be getting older, more tired, etc.. but word that night in San Diego (4th and B) was that he was out of the whole building and gone, by the time the last note was played...
To me personally, that wasn't cool.. There were many upset, long time fans, who like I, have never seen Adam and finally got the chance. Yes it may be a bit selfish on my part, but he came to San Diego to perform and get paid, and we showed up and paid him.

Anyway, if you have been an Ant fan and never saw him before, I say catch him before its too late.. But Adam should take notes from OMD and Pet Shop Boys, who I also saw in San Diego and they stayed around for over an hour, talking to others, signing autographs, mingling, and being respectful to the people that put them where they were at.. Plus, both had major amounts of energy..
P.S.OMD rocked and the concert date isn't exact.. Not really sure of correct date, sometime Aug. 2012 I believe..

I am and have always been a huge Adam Ant fan. That being said; he played in a small bar inside the casino with crappy acoustics. The sound board technician was totally out of balance for the first three songs. He needs to have a horn section for a lot of his songs that require those instruments; they do not sound the same without. The song selection was fantastic, could not ask for a better set list. They played for long time and I definitely got my $$$ worth. His voice has not fallen off like most other singers. The merchandise was great. A lot of autographed pictures and autobiography available.

Adam Ant put on SUCH a great show! The opening act was very good, and then Adam rocked on for two straight hours! I have wanted to see him perform for YEARS! This show was worth the weight!

Adam was AMAZING! Not a biased opinion, he really impressed me, the show was high energy and the duration was way longer than I expected. He still moves around with typical "Ant flair" minus the super high kicks. Voice, yodel type screams and R rolling impeccable! Nice set, good range from old classics like "beat me" to "Wonderful". The only song I personally wish he added to his set is "Beautiful Dream"' other than that, he performed all of my favorites and new songs I've never heard before. BRAVO ADAM BRAVO!

I was completely amazed at the show. Not being the biggest fan in the world, I was blown away by the band and Adam is quite the performer! He sounded great and his songs stand the test of time. I also need to mention the opening band - Brothers from Brazil - they were outstanding. A cross between bossanova and punk, two brothers from (you guessed it) Brazil are high energy and fun. I ended up buying their two cd's.

Adam Ant and his new band were great! He still has the same showmanship, charisma, and incredible talent that he did 15, 25, 30 years ago...he was so amazing. He played one song off the new album, I can't wait for it to come out and for him to tour again. What an unforgettable experience!

Words can hardly explain the amazing show Adam put on for us in NYC. He was energetic, sexy, fun and every bit the amazing singer and performer that I remember. I was priviledged enough to be front row center so the entire show was like just like a dream. I had a wonderful time. Thank you ever so much Adam. I hope to se you again if you tour the US with your new album. This time I plant to make more than just 2 concerts....and I am now quite spoiled for front row center. :)

Opening with "Plastic Surgery" and practically doing the whole "Dirk Wears White Sox" album along with Jubliee's "Deutscher Girls" and all that old old pre-KOTWF stuff and some b-sides was what I wanted to hear - and see! Playing for nearly 1-3/4 hours, Adam tripped through his old catalog (plenty from Kings of the Wild Frontier too) and touched on the more obvious hits of late. My only complaint was the encore (a T.Rex cover) and closer of "Physical" was a bit messy... Looking forward to his new album early 2013 - a nice way to spend my 42nd birthday!

Adam Ant still has his moves too bad his fans have lost most of theirs. Most of the people in attendance seem to think that their favorite performers enjoy seeing a crowd of middle aged deadbeats. You get what you give at a live show. It's a symbiotic relationship. Luckily Adam gave more than he got out of the people watching the entire show through a cell phone. So if you don't feel like shaking your ass even a little bit, stop scolding those that are there to have a good time and get out of the way.

Adam Ant did not disappoint. He is every bit as energetic as he was in the 80s. I have not seen him in concert since I was 12 years old, and have been yearning to see him again since. His music, videos, style and performance have always been nothing short of unique, original, and inspiring. I can't imagine my youth without his influence. I thought finally seeing him would leave me feeling fulfilled, but I already yearn to see him again! BEST SHOW EVER! He played all the classics and more.

After waiting 29 years and 11 months to see him again, Adam did not disappoint. Everything was a highlight from the moment he took the Cubby Bear stage. He was happy, smiley, energetic, handsome, and sweaty. He performed over 30 songs and we loved them all. He was wonderful; everything I expected and so much more. His voice was strong and clear, and those eyes, lips, jaw line and cheekbones still make me all melty. True fans will love every second of the show.
I can’t even fault Adam for having that silly girl, Georgina Baillie, on stage with him - shimmying uncomfortably in her lingerie - as she is the granddaughter of Manuel from Fawlty Towers!
The Brothers of Brazil were amazing and I would love to see them again. Both handsome and sexy, though vastly different styles. Unsure which bro was hotter; the giant, buff, punky Billy Idol, or the more conservative suit and tie bro. both delicious.
Thank you for a wonderful night, Adam. PLEASE come back to Minneapolis!! 1982 was too long of a wait.

I was more than pleasantly surprised to hear Adam playing almost exclusively OLD stuff. Not just kind of old stuff, but OLD OLD stuff back from his days as an underground punk act. Opening with Plastic Surgery was masterful. He sounded great. He may have needed a bit of a wardrobe expert, but it was nice to see him wearing some of his classic garb.

The venue was small, so while I had a great spot it was SO hot and SO crowded that it was really uncomfortable. Oh well.
