The concert seemed over too soon (something like 7:50 - 9:50pm). It may be just as well since when they got fully cranked, there was such a full-throttled intensity that it was like you could only take so much. They always seem to have very appreciative crowds.
They started with so many early songs that I thought maybe they were going to work through the 40 years more or less chronologically. Of course, that would have been more than a little uneven, given the fits and spurts of the band over those years.
I still miss Dickey Betts - that bad boy sure could play!

Awesome show, I really was hoping to see Warren and Derek play Little Martha as a tribute to Duane. Playing it over the PA from Eat a Peach was nice, but live would have made it one of the best.

The Allman Brothers and Derek Trucks were amazing, even better live than in studio. The only downside was that the show was shorter than expected, and they left out many of their biggest hits, including Whipping Post.

What an amazing group of musicians! They gave a great concert. My disappointment was when they came back after the intermission and played a song that had to be at least 30 minutes long. They basically went around the stage with solos. It was actually way over the top and we couldn't figure out where the song was going. It appeared that they were playing for themselves and forgot there was an audience out there. They lost the audience for quite a while after that.

I saw the Allman Brothers 3x this summer, - The Beacon in NYC, PNC in New Jersey and at the Hard Rock in Florida. All shows were great, however the show at the HardRock was OUTSTANDING the BEST that I EVER HEARD and SEEN!!! They were on!!!!!!!!

I had heard that Derek Trucks was special and he was. But I must admit I was more impressed with Warren Haynes. WOW! I was also impressed with the hologram of Duane Allman on stage and Derek playing the same tune (kind of in the background) note for note as Duane so that it looked like the Ghost of Duane was playing the solo. Technology is quite amazing these days!!

With a standing ovation after almost every song I was not the only person that felt that way. I have watched Derrick Trucks evolve since he first started playing with the band. he was always great but he is truly world class. They were all really on don't know if it was because it was the last stop on the tour or not but it truly the greatest show I have ever seen. I have seen the Brothers for 40 years through all the ups and downs and tragedies and they really have it all together.

Wow what a show..as always they rocked the house. Who can believe this was their 40th anniversary tour?! It was unbelievable, it was hard to stay in your seat the music just moved you. Anyone who hasn't seen the Allman Brothers should do so as soon as they can, its well worth it!

It was great to see the band after many years - they're still my favorite band of all time. But like so many concerts, the sound was not as good as it could have been. The drums and the bass were miked too loud and drowned out most of the more subtle aspects of the guitars - they could only really be heard when they were wailing. And Greg's organ might as well not been there. But the band was tight and in fine form. It was interesting to see how Butch has really become the heart of the band and sets the tone for their performance. What was sad is how many people were drinking heavily and not really there for the music.
