As the crowd began to realize that the famous bearded rockers carrying their signature red guitars were taking the stage in Dallas the place went crazy. From the moment they hit their first note until their last they had the fans singing and dancing along to all of their classics. ZZ Top's music reaches out through all generations and you could see this if you just looked around. Up on the lawn we were surrounded by families with young kids jamming out on their air guitars and moms reliving their heydays in the 80s! For an hour the band from Texas gave their home town crowd something to be proud of. There's nothing like seeing Sharp Dressed Man performed live! It was really a great experience.
The band came out in true Aerosmith fashion: Steven Taylor in some crazy outfit holding onto his mic stand covered in scarves and Joe carrying his famous guitar with the picture of his wife painted on it. Steven let out that famous scream of his, the band started to play and the place was on their feet! Aerosmith performed a handful of the classics that everyone knows and some obscure tracks. If you haven't seen Aerosmith before be prepared for Steven to take a break and let Joe Perry take over the mic. Though it's not my favorite part of the show he is very talented. However, we could have done without the Joe Perry guitar solo where he played against his character from Guitar Hero. I would have rather heard the band play Mama Kin, Back in the Saddle or any of the other countless classics. They wrapped up the show after about an hour and 15mins. They ended their set with a great rendition of Walk This Way which got the crowd pumped up. Then they came back for an encore and played their typical last song of the night, Train Kept a Rollin'. The music is ageless and is the real reason they've been such a great band for the last thirty years!

Favorite moment: The encore because it seemed like a jam with the band with each member doing some solos. Then they just rocked it out at the end. @

Aerosmith -We are the generation that grew up with the band when they were at there prime and as with all bands from the 70's you wonder if they will sound as good! Aerosmith sounded just as good as they did then and even though Steven Tyler had an injury still gave 110% entertaining the crowd. We could have closed our eyes and gone back in time to the Omni in Atlanta when we were teens. Thanks so much Aerosmith you are the best and I am going out to purchase some CDs since my albums just do not sound as well as they did.
ZZ Top - You guys were just as I remembered....the sound was great and loved to hear the stories and your beautiful deep voice. Thank you for staying true to the ZZ top sound....we love you guys!!

Aerosmith TORE. IT. UP. they came. they delivered. They left us breathless and if they were anything like me, complete die hard Aerosmith fans, they left us voiceless as well. we went absolutely wild and Steve Tyler and Joe Perry kicked up 10x more than I ever expected! I mean I knew they were going to be hot but they were all over the stage, Steve was CLASSIC kick a$$ Steve; toting his scarf drenched mike stand with him everywhere, doing his famous "Steve Tyler shuffle" like a champ and belting out those famous screams "album-perfect" in every song. he did NOT miss a note. Joe played that guitar like the master he is; behind his head, over his head, sideways, UPSIDE DOWN; guitar orgasm after orgasm! Even Tom and Brad did awesome solos. Joey rocked those drums until we were delirious! Steve was playing the harmonica backing up one of Joe Perry's lead songs (which totally rocked too). the whole show was seriously non-stop the whole time. From the first opening song (which is my second personal favorite) Eat The Rich....perfect song to open up with...it was perfection. I will never never never in my whole life forget this concert. They were ultimate entertainment and played songs from their very first album......including the number one rock song EVER: Dream On to their very latest album and they never passed up a moment to pause between songs...basically freezing on stage mid song...just begging us to scream for more...then one look from Steve and Joey on the drums would rock it out till the very end with all of us losing our minds screaming and singing and cheering them all on. it was a perfect performance. thanks for coming out to Hawaii Aerosmith! Being at this concert topped even my wedding day! I love you STEVE AND JOE!!!
