Smithsonian programs are selelcted for superb performance and cutlural expansion. The genious of Mr Shaheen is well described - he is a virtuoso!

Shaheen is a virtuoso oud player and an excellent violinist, too; If you're a fan of Arab music, or someone who wants to stretch your musical boundaries, this ensemble is a must-see; Highly recommended.
