Terrible seating and too crowded. We were told by some woman on the phone to arrive by 5:30 p.m., order dinners, and thus get a better seat closer to the stage. No dinners were available, however, and we got stuck way off to the side. Some 6 foot plus guy sat right in front of me. People who had dinner reservations got such bad seats, they sat behind us and ate on a tiny round table. The show started late 8:20 p.m. due to rain or something. The show was kind of boring. Not enough visuals on the screen which is really all we could see.

What a great time we had with the ageless Debbie Reynolds! She sang. She danced. She told jokes. She told us about her career and her life. Debbie sang with clips from her great movies and showed out-takes from old movies. A great more than an hour and a half.

Cheesy location - real industrial - something Debbie found amusing and included in her act.

Debbie is still going strong at 77 - very entertaining and a real wit. She is an inspiration to all of us in the retired category--she is definitely NOT RETIRED. Several movie clips she showed are priceless - "Singing in the Rain", out take collection of flubs by famous stars. Her jokes are funny. Her frank tales about her past marriages are hilarious.

A Classy Entertainer Makes a great evening

Debbie Reynolds brought some class to the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. She reminisced about her 62 years in show business. She sang a few bars from various songs and joked with the audience. She brought a lot of sparkle to the Coach House which is an industrial building converted into a dinner house. She showed clips from some of the films she was in, as well as some out takes from movies that were made in the 40'-50's. At the end of the show she sang Tammy....

The guy across from me was a Marine in Korea and he was on a hospital ship in the early 50's. He remembered how Debbie came up to the ward and spent time with each of the guys who were too injured to go to the show... She is a real classy lady and the pictures of her are not touched up... she really looks that good.

The show was amazing, very personal, envolved the whole audience. Debbie Reynolds was the whole show and on stage the entire time, no side acts. Great venue for this little town.

I went to see Debbie Reynolds after reading her daughter's book Wishful Drinking (by Carrie Fisher). Debbie is everything her adoring daughter says --- she's a riot, graceful, and a wonderful entertainer. She's also very smart ; she knows her appeal is nostalgic and she made no apologies for that, instead displaying humor and grace. She showed a slide show of movie stills to warm up the audience, and showed some blooper clips from movies in the 40s and 50s during her show. She sang, told jokes, did fabulous impressions, bantered with the audience, and made fun of herself as an aging Hollywood icon. It was fun, and very intelligently done. You should, as she said, "go see Debbie before she dies!"

My mom and I just loved Debbie, she was funny and entertaining. I could tell everyone that attended was truly happy and thrilled to be there as well as mom and myself. I hope she comes again soon. The venue was nice, it made a more intimate and special event!

Debbie was outstanding; one criticism, however - her mike was not properly checked prior to the performance and she was overpowered by her musicians until we complained and had her mike volume increased. Sloppy work on the mike check.

Debbie Reynolds is a treasure, and it came across in her fun and varied show last night. She's still got it! She's warm, funny, charming, talented and great at taking the audience on a trip down memory lane. I loved how she saved singing "Tammy" for her very last number, and it was evident that the rest of the crowd did too. Her back up pianist and drummer were great, and I enjoyed the show immensely. I would recommend it highly!

Debbie put on a great show, from her impressions and singing to her funny jokes too! It was definitely worth the trip from Seattle to The "SkaJET", as Debbie would say.

We enjoyed the show and hope Debbie comes back soon. She sang pleasant songs and told fun jokes. She is very cute. We appreciated the lack of vulgar language and the gentle way she talked about her past. I think she should shorten the Zsa Zsa routine and eliminate Bette Davis. She put on a good show and brilliantly ended with "Tammy". Touching. Her accompanist did a good job too. We liked the movie clips. We enjoyed the evening. She made cute remarks about "Skagit". Debbie was fun to watch. She really looked beautiful and trim.

Debbie Reynolds put on a fabulous show. She referred to herself as the 'old broad', doesn't let age change her happy, positive view of life. Great comedienne, singer, loved the old movie clips and bloopers. A must see!

The show was FABULOUS!!!! I took my mom who is 81. I enjoyed the show as much if not more than she (due to her sight limitations). You could feel the energy in the room before Ms. Reynolds took the stage. There was so much love and appreciation for her work. She in turn recriprocated the feeling. She engaged the audience evoking many fond memories and the 90 minutes flew by. Her ending the show with "Tammy" was wonderful. She then shook hands and gave autographs to those fortunate to be up front. Everyone left the ballroom with a smile on their face. I hope Ms. Reynolds returns to the Reno/Tahoe area again very soon!

Debbie Reynolds put on a marvelous show. Her age didn't stop her from wowing the crowd!!!! Saying that, we were extremely disppointed in the venue. It was no better than the convention center here in town. We thought it would be a nice theater setting, not some stale convention room!!!! We will never attend another show in that venue. We only travelled for Debbie Reynolds.

My mother was Debbie's Brownie Scout Troop Leader in Burbank. I wish I'd been able to tell Debbie about that. The show had me and my friend laughing until tears rolled down our cheeks at the old movie clips. Debbie's songs were nicely done and sweet, conjuring up great memories. If Debbie returns to Reno, I'll be first in line to go again.
