Every part of the show, muscians, singers and of course Wayne himself was absolutely supurb. I haven't seen Wayne since the late 60's or early 70's and that was at a theatre in the round in West Covina. He was on with Jack Benny who said Wayne was his prodigy. He left me with a great impression then. Now after 40 years he has grown to be a great entertainer. Loved every part of the show. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The voice is gone. He sounded like he may have had a cold and he was coughing off the mike. He should not have sung a note. His instrumental solos were great, did not know he could play so many instruments.
The orchestra and the backup singers were absolutely wonderful.
Overall, it was a good time but i felt embarrseded for him when he was singing.

Wayne is as innovative now as he was the first time I saw him back in the 70's. He is an incredible performer and such a geniune person. His love and caring for others has made him a phenomenal star. His career has spanned for 50 years. He is an amazing man and a talented performer that will live in history as an icon..

Setlist: Wayne in true Vegas style came out to the same intro his Friend Elvis used - the laymen title is 2001 and began singing CC Rider. He followed that with Viva Las Vegas. There were several other Elvis Songs or songs that Elvis also sang, he played Let It Be Me on the guitar and also Spanish Eyes very classicly - played the piano, fiddle and banjo also. He did many of his standards and several that were requested but not on the playlist for the night - he ended it with American Trilogy @

It was a great night - Wayne was very personable - he took time to do request, speak to those that walked up to the stage and read notes left there for him.
He made you feel like you were just a bunch of friends sitting in his den and sharing some songs with.
His voice when he spoke often sounded like it was a bit stranded but when he sang it never showed. He joked with his instrumentalist - some who travel with him and some that were local and he thanked each group - he also shared his stage with his back up singers allowing them to sing duets with him or a song of their own. Some would say that because he has been playing Vegas for 50 years he is no longer the same performer he once was and needs to have someone help him fill the time. I think by telling us about the folks in his group and sharing their talent one on one makes it more like family - instead of saying I liked that lady in the sequins dress you knew her name and what all she had accomplished and that she wasn't just someone bought cheap to sing harmony. It is a family and we were able to be part of it. His family is also helping to sell the memorbilia that everyone wanted to take home to remember the night by. It is part of their life they are sharing and not just another sale.
It was an experience long awaited and so worth it - the only thing that could have made it better was to have been one of the lucky ones to go back stage for pictures and to have been closer to the stage to see the twinkle in his eye without aid of side monitors. Also to have had some pictures taken at the show to remember it by but pictures were not permitted.

Enjoyed the Vegas style show. Wayne Newton is definitely Mr. Entertainment. His back up singers are truly gifted vocalists.

Wayne must have had a chest cold and was hoarse for the show. None of his singing was good. His voice broke and wavered continuously. He seldom finished a song, did a lot of intros to his famous recordings and stopped after a few lines.
There was a lot of time taken introducing and thanking members of the band. The female vocalist did a solo that was a cross between a yodeling contest and starsearch.

I waited so long to see his show-missed him in Vegas- and then had back problems the whole week prior. I was in tears that I wouldn't enjoy the show (not going wasn't an option!) but saw the Dr. that morning and he gave me a shot in my back. It was such a wonderful show. I laughed and cried and enjoyed it more than I ever expected. My husband had a great time and he didn't really care to go. I know some of Wayne's jokes will make the rounds at my husband's office on Tuesday. He has a class act and I'd recommend it to anyone. The only drawback was there was no encore. But the show was long and well worth the money.

Wayne Newton is a real showman. He put on a really great show! He doesn't have the vocals as he did when he was younger, but he can still put on a great show. His inner action with audience was great.

Did no think this rated up to par with his Las Vegas shows, which we have seen 4 times.
Seats were not good, way too far from stage, Had to look at monitors all the time.. Felt his female singer murdered Amaziong Grace and he did like wise with his rendition of Dixie.

I loved the show, but in the past I have purchased tickets to meet Wayne. This was a let down for me. I look forward to meeting Wayne Newton. Your area can be a little more event friendly. I like being closer. He always puts on a great show.

I think Mr Newton needs to retire and take care of his horses. I have seen him entertain over yje years and he still has his charm but his voice is gone. His band and backup singers were great but Wayne needs to retire.

After a few days of seeing Wayne Newton at San Manuel Casino's Showroom, not much has changed the level of disapointment I have that night. I have seen Mr. Newton's shows over 30+ years, and at many different showrooms,clubs, arenas,and venues. I have always walked away, throughly entertained, as well as other crowds that expressed nothing but possitive and memorable comments about that evenings show. Thursday's show , I feel, with so many others, missed the target, he seemed he could hit, even blindfolded. I must admit, even before he appeared, this was not the venue, I was accustomed to enjoy his show. A poorly lit stage, seating that was from over crowded seminar or buffet, and when the band started, I truly did't know what to expect. The sound and "mix" ,and especially when WN started, was something I would expect from a traveling side show or a once a week garage band.
Throughout the years, I recognized all his band members, and I'm sure every one knew this show. It appeared Mr. Newton was also not in his top voice. A cold or virus did affect his his sound. I know, because the material was music he had taken from past shows.Even his Vegas jokes/one liners were muddled, not easy to clearly understand, because of the bad sound. From his timely "stich", to his medleys, featuring his talent on many instruments, he whethered on, like the true professional he IS. His effort and energy,( and bands ), was always there from the begining, to some difficult spots in the show. I was really impressed the WN and band, smiled and went on as if it was the best they ever did. i'm lucky to have seen many of remarkable shows, even though this, had a few negitives, WN and his band, still remain among the top/best in the entertainment industry.

I was excited to see the Las Vegas legend. But was very disappointed by the "cracking" vocals. He made a great effort to give a good show. Maybe there was a voice probem, I don't know. Another fan who sat next to me, that had seen him in Vegas years before, said that he needed to "hang it up, and retire." I hope that either his voice recovers or that he go ahead and retire.

Wayne gives over 100% to entertain. He has a great group of musicians to back him up. He also has 3 wonderful singers. It's really a REAL Las Vegas show setup!

Great show...........I know why they call him Mr. Las Vegas.............what an entertainer.
My husband and I enjoyed every minute of it and even tho" Wayne doesn't sing as well
as in his youth he still has an amazing talent for putting on a great show. He has musical instrument talents we never knew about as well---it was a great event and I'd go see him again anyday. I do wish he had sung "I Want Some Red Roses for a Blue Lady" as it was my mom's favorite song and she always listened to Wayne sing it.

I loved the show! Wayne Newton gives 110 percent of himself. What an entertainer! I go to many shows at the different casinos, and I must say that Wayne Newton's show is the best. There is no comparison to the current talent we have.
Please let Wayne Newton know that we love him very much, and appreciate his talent and showmanship. HE IS "MR LAS VEGAS."

I took Gary for his Birthday to See Wayne Newton. Gary had a great time. Wayne Newton is a real showman, professional and quite the energetic guy.
He was funny, talented and the show moved at a good tempo throughout

Was very enjoyable. This was my first time seeing him perform live/ Would go and see him again..
The only thing--too bad the floor wasn't elevated though. Had to keep looking at the
screen because of having someone taller in front of me.
this was my first time at a concert at San Manuel. now that I have an idea of the seating
for an event like this, I know now for when I order tickets for another event.
If and when Wayne Newton comes to San Manuel again. I will get tickets

We enjoyed the show, Wayne has lost it a little but it was still enjoyable. The only thing about the show that was terrible, were the big screen televisions, I had never seen big screen televisions that bad that were old and out of focus, I would think that San Manuel should replace them with new ones.
