Wow what a show woman! She looked great. Her voice was amazing. She has an incredibly talented Orchestra and her pianist is world class. She will uplift you and make you smile. If you have a chance run don't walk to your local ticket seller and buy tickets to her next show. You'll not be disappointed!!!

Liza put her all into this show, and it was well worth the cost of the ticket. The variety of songs was great, and of course she did her hits.

Liza sang great, but she had extremely poor song selection. What's up with Mammie?
The songs were slow and the show was very slow paced. The songs were not well known.
The only high points were Cabaret at the end of the first act and New York, New York at the end of the second half.
She has such great talent, she could have picked up the energy even for a 63-year old woman.

The only regret was not sitting closer to the stage. I love every song she sings, and my favorite show tunes are from Cabaret, some of which she performed. Although her voice has matured, it still brings out the same effect for everyone, which is absolutely wonderful. The emotion in her voice, her comfort being with her fans, I wish I had seen her years ago. I heard some malcontents making nasty remarks during intermission, so why did they bother going? They should only be so great as she is when they are 60.
Better than a Cher or Midler or Manilow concert. Liza with a Z...........................!

Breath-taking. Like when I am on a mountain top looking at a magnificent view. Her voice is so powerful and passionate, yet can be tender and caressing. This was my first time to see Liza perform in person and I was very impressed.

It was a hot August night at the Hollywood Bowl made even hotter by the incomparable Liza! The lights went out, the overture started and the energy of the audience made the night even hotter. Then Liza hit the stage in a white seguin pant suit and raised the temperature higher. It was my 33rd time seeing Liza in concert and I was with 3 friends who had never seen her before. She soared through the first number which was "Teach Me Tonight". Her voice was perfect reaching all the low and high notes effortlessly. The music started for the second number and stopping the band Liza explained the usually she requires that the temperature of the venue she performs in should be 67 to 68 degrees but she wasn't going to get her wish and we were all going to be in this heat together. Together it was!!! Liza mesmerized the audience for almost 2 hours and made everyone forget how hot it was in the Bowl and that the warmth was coming from her. She sang all of the songs she is known for and more. Liza is one of the few entertainers who still can command an audience wiithout numerous costume changes(she made 2), special lighting effects,smoke and mirrors and back up singers or dancers. Looking around there were all ages represented enjoying every minute of the show. The highlight
was after she ended with her signature song "New York,New York" she came back for 2 enchores. Liza is the ultimate entertainer and gives as much back to her audience as she receives. I can't wait for my 34th time to see her because she's not going to stop.

If you love LIZA, and appreciate how she can craft a show, make the simplest of hand gestures and movements exciting, and create a bond with an audience by gushing with appreciation....well then you would have had a great time on Saturday.

Perhaps the heat made her a bit more tired. Maybe the voice is not what it was twenty year ago. Ok, so she needed to sit more and move less. But it was classic LIZA taking us on a trip down memory lane. And no one does her classic songs the way she does...it's a true treat!

A beautiful, warm eve at the Hollywood Bowl surrounded by friends of Dorothy, friends of LIZA and friends of musical theater. What's not to love about that!

Sometimes her voice was strong and sometimes it missed a little but her friendly interaction with the audience made you feel she was talking to you. That ability to communicate made the show enjoyable. I have seen many famous entertainers and her show particularly her personality rates her among the best.

Liza looked beautiful and in top form yet her singing was a major dissapointment. She can't belt out those songs as in the past. She is showing signs of aging vocally and in addition the extreme heat and the large outdoor venue like the Hollywood Bowl did not help her much. She was much better two years ago in the small concert room at Pechanga. The sound system at the Bowl not very good that night also. Nonetheless she still is a legendary singer/performer. We love Liza nonetheless!!!!!

If you are a Liza fan, then seeing her upright was enough of a treat. I saw Liza about 8 years ago and it was a train wreck. She gets an A for effort and a C for execution.

LIZA is an amazing performer! This was my first time getting to see her live.
Great seats at the Bowl. From what they tell me she had stripped down her Broadway show from the Palace and added a few new things. The true testament is the fact that there are some guys in her orchestra who have been performing with her for 33 yrs. Two curtain calls and a standing ovation. And yes I bought one of the two concert posters. Had to. Great night. Bravo LIZA Bravo.

It's the mark of an exceptional performer when they can turn the Bowl into an intimate concert space, and Ms. Minnelli did just that on Saturday evening.

Belying her 63 years, she brought an amazing amount of energy and enthusiasm to the show, with a voice that sounded much improved over the recent Liza's at the Palace recording.

Although the second set was barely over a half-hour, Ms. Minnelli came back for two encores, the first with accompanist Billy Stritch, and the last a cappella.

Broadway is so NOT my favorite music genre but I definitely felt the magic with Liza. From head to toe, Liza looked and sounded like a very classy lady. She probably hates being referred to as a legend and national treasure but she definitely is both. Liza has set a standard of excellence that few (if any) of today's artists will ever be able to even come close to. It is a truly an honor to even get the nose bleed seats at a Liza Minnelli show and her wide variety of fans really do know how to party.

My advice: Take everyone you know to experience this inspirational artist and quintessential star. You have no idea what show business was really meant to be until you've seen Liza Minnelli!

Wish it could've been different: There were NO t-shirts.
