Bette Midler was awesome. The show was full of energy and she performed every song expected. Her backup girls were fit with her like a glove. The choreography was perfect. Really enjoyed the show. At the end of the show, Bette Midler shook hands with just about everyone in the theater. She spoke to every single person as if they were the only person at the show and she said Thank You for coming to each and everyone. She is a class act.

I have seen Bette many many times, and she never fails to amaze me! This show was no exception.She gives her all from the minute she steps on the stage. Now she is only two years younger than I am, and there she is dancing, running, and putting her incredible emotion and heart into every song...she has it all over most stars with her ability to entertain. She plays to the entire audience....there is a huge range of age, from the teenagers to the ,upper geriatric.

There are none like her and this would Be your Best Bette ever!!

I took my sister to see Bette for her birthday. We sat all the way through the concert in utter bliss. We are both in our early fifties and have waited a very long time to see such an amazing performance!!! Bette was worth the wait. Thanks Bette for making my sister's birthday extra special!! We Love You!!!

I knew this show was going to be incredible but I had no idea how moved I would be. I was laughing hysterically one minute and crying the next. Hearing some of the classics I grew up listening to on 45's - well I was truly speechless. Even the next day, I could hardly talk about the show. There are no words to describe what a phenomenal entertainer and talent Bette Midler is. If anyone reading this review is on the fence - go for it. it is the chance of a lifetime. Nothing is done halfway - Bette works so hard throughout to show her appreciation for her fans!!!

I have to say that the Divine Miss M is still amazing! She can hang in there with the 16 showgirls and 3 backup singers. She is funny and talented, but most of all you should see how fit she is!

Bette Midler is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL, wonderful voice, great jokes and show is unbelievably fantastic! I had 3rd row front center seat which was 5ft from her. Especially great when Bette sat on steps in front of me..I LOVE her, plus we both are Sagittarius!!! I look like her too!!!

Second time at the show..has improved with some new material. Very energetic and non-stop for 90 minutes. Bette is still going strong and can really deliver.

This was my third visit to see Bette at the Colosseum. These shows just get better and better. She works so hard to make sure the audience has a good time. The stage is enormous, but she gets to every bit of it, including all the audience in the show. The humour is, as you would expect, very bawdy. That is why we love her! The songs are sung from the heart. I hear rumours she may be coming to London. That is a lot closer to my home than Las Vegas, so I'll be there.

Congratulations, Bette. You are wonderful.

What an evening! I'll never forget her presentation and stage presence. She pretends to beckon Celine back to the stage, but.....Bette is the true wind beneath MY wings! What a role model! Who else is still kicking at her age? She sports the ultimate "little black dress", and makes me blush with her showgirl tactics. She remembers the classics to a tee, and even made me misty with "Soph"! Our collective memory would be less smile-producing without "the People's DIVA"!!! It's so hard to explain her without being there! I'll never forget.......When life expects your wheels to be motorized, just demand a motor for your wheels, glue sequins on everything in sight, and sing, sing, sing!!!!!!!WOw, you're a true legend!

This review is a tad bit biased because I think that Bette Midler can do no wrong. Her show was flawless, performance was awe inspiring, and overall experience left me with a magical tingle in my heart. I was in the second row because I am a seat snob and will sit no where else but in the first few rows. I like to be showered with spit and sweat and to be in the moment with the performers. My only complaint was that the show was too short, clocking in at only 90 mintues. I like my shows to be a good two hours!
My only regret is that I did not purchase the Smug Mutha package for $1000 and see Bette after the show.
Who else does that for her fans? Certainly not Cher! $1000 is a lot, but it's a charitable contribution to her NYRP foundation that you are really paying for.

I was very disappointed by the Bette Midler show. There was nothing innovative or fresh about it. It appeared to just be a rehashing of old material. Even Ms. Milder made the comment, "I've been telling these jokes for forty years and you've been laughing at them for forty years."

And the singing! Where was the singing? Ms. Midler is known for her beautiful voice and yet, she only sang eight songs or so in the 90 minute show. The gaps were filled with plenty of gratuitous swearing and a borderline offensive mermaid-in-a-wheelchair skit. That skit may be vintage Midler, but really? I expected more from the talented Ms. Midler - especially at the price of the tickets.

Did I mention the show started 15 minutes late?
