You'll be misssing a great time if you don't go see Harry. The songs, the voice, the comfortable way he has comunicating with the audience-he has a great way of story telling which he shares, and he sure knows his way around the piano, and trumpet. Highly recomend for all ages

Highly personable and entertaining. What a fun show! The band was out of this world. And his easy banter with the audience was a pleasure. His voice was smooth, silky, sexy and sultry. We just kept looking at each other, smiling and tapping our toes. A+ for a romantic Valentines Day show. He gave us goosbumps. One of the best shows we have ever seen. Would go back and see him again and again and again...

Even a snow storm couldn't keep me from seeing Harry Connick, Jr. And he did not disappoint. He was musically amazing, funny & entertaining. He ended his set a bit differently that in recent shows with some old school New Orleans music - and it was fantastic. Whether he sings his older stuff, or classics he's a true entertainer.

Was very entertaining. Not only was the music fantastic. Harry was very funny. Love that he is so easy going and can laugh at himself. Seems like a happy soul. Such a talented man. Had no idea he could play do many instruments.

Harry played a great show. As usual, he engaged the audience with some great stories, a little jazz education, and incredible music. My only complaint may be that the show was a little short. The show was scheduled for 8 PM. He didn't come on until after 8:15 and the encore was over by 9:45. For over $125 a ticket, no matter where you sat, I'd hope he would play longer than that. I've gone to shows for a lot less and seen a lot more music.

Fantastic sound, diverse song choices, fun commentary, guest musicians, great interaction with the audience. This was actually the first concert I've ever attended in which the music sounds significantly better live than recorded - and the recorded versions are excellent. I'm sold - officially an HCJ groupie :)

There was a snow storm in CT and it wasn't safe to travel. For obvious reasons I could not attend. For the safety of everyone the event should have been rescheduled.

Over the past 10 years, I 've seen Harry at several awesome shows, most memorable was prior to the Newport Jazz Festival where he played a Friday night at the Tennis Hall of Fame in the pouring rain, without a thought of leaving his fans without a good show. Another Boston show where he ran up to the balcony of the theater to sing Blue Christmas to a girl right next to us. All of these things made me keep going to his shows.
Most recent 2 shows I've seen him, Providence RI and Foxwoods last year. He explained to the crowd that he was tired (both times), and had been sleeping in the tour bus. He played a lackluster show (both times) in less than an hour. Here's my issue with this.
More often I've dropped a considerable amount of coin on tickets, expecting a show comparable to his Radio City DVD - (similar to his old shows). He disappointed my wife and I the last couple, enough that I won't be buying tickets - just got a Ticketmaster alert that tix are going on sale tomorrow for CT show on 12/29/12. No thanks!
Harry - if you ever read this - don't forget that people buy tickets to be entertained - not given a quick bang and thank you very much.
Given that Tony Bennett is coming to Boston in February, I'm going to see him instead....

Harry was wonderful in his Baton Rouge performance! The only complaint I have is that it was too short :( He performed for just at one hour (or slightly less). I would love to have heard more.

Harry Connick put on a great show, even had his father sing too. The arena at Lauberge was large but felt small, with great acoustics, confortable seats, and good views of the stage(except for along the far sides) He was funny and a great pianist. His band was talented and happily many had solos to showcase their skills.
I would definitely return to the Event Center at Lauberge.

I have been a fan of Harry Connick, Jr. since I first saw him on the streets of New Orleans. He has an amazingly smooth, soulful voice. I did enjoy his recent concert in Baton Rouge, La. I only wish it would have been longer! Harry always puts on a great show. Always the consummate performer!

Loved the concert - he's such a wonderful musician......played the piano, bass drum, trumpet and can sing like nobody's business. Really enjoyed him as a "person". Very personable and talked to all of us like we were friends of his......funny and sharp!!!
