The Michael W. Smith concert was wonderful! It was great having him back "home" in WV. He is such a talented singer/song writer/musician/performer. He really lets the audience feel welcome and "at home" by letting us sing along to the Christmas carols. He's a great witness for our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and helps us remember what Christmas is truly about. Also back up vocalists, Vocal Avenue were amazing. The WV Philharmonica - outstanding with the awesome guest conductor David Hamilton and Michael's bagpipe/flute instrumentalist and keyboardist complete this terrific show.

I was super excited to go to see Michael W. Smith at Blaisdell concert hall on mother's day. I was super duper excited and surprised to see Tiffany Thurston! she was amazing and set the bar high!!! She performed well with her 3 piece ensemble for about 45 minute.
I was caught off guard at first to see Michael W. Smith and no band. He had someone play keyboard/synthesizer with prerecorded music. I would have preferred just him with a backup piano and vocals. I feel that we could listen to prerecorded music on the CD. I admit that I struggled a bit listening to his instrumentals with a precorded "70 piece orchestra" in the background, which he said was awesome to record with. I tried to picture the orchestra only to realize I wish they were there too!
Overall, Michael W. Smith is a very talented musician/songwriter/singer. I enjoyed his performance. He mixed humor and personal testimony to make the setting more intimate. He even played a couple songs on the guitar.
I am so glad I had the opportunity to go! It was a beautiful evening and money well spent!

First time for me to see Michael W. Smith Concert in person, I was absolutely thrilled with his performance!!! Very talented, inspiring and incredible piano player!! I have never before seen a more enthusiastic crowd! After Michael left the stage the crowd continued to applaud loudly & cheer for more than five minutes, only sad note he did not return for one more song!
Say an encore song of "Amazing Grace".
Loved the entire show, can't wait for Michael W. Smith to rreturn to the Islands!!

Really inspiring ... alot of the local Praise and Worship teams were there and many of the songs were familiar ... just like yesterday ... Amazing to have come from one person ...

It was a GREAT concert. It had such a relaxed feel that it was just like sitting in his living room listening to him play the piano and sing!! Absolutely loved it!!

I left soaked to the bone with blessings, healing, and peace. His music ministered like no other and michael is undeniably annointed. Hope to see him again in Hawaii! Tiffany Thurston could have sung longer - she's got so much talent and exudes spirit filled worship. Bring her back to the island stage again soon!

Michael W Smith is undeniably a gifted man of God. Pure talent with hit after hit after hit! Some of which I have to admit I didn't know he wrote! =) Although it was a Mother's Day gift, my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. Compared MWS to the Elton John, Billy Joel, Barry Manilow and Michael Jackson of CHRISTIAN music! Enjoyed every moment of it! Thank you!

When I saw that he was in town I had to get tickets, and it was awesome that it fell on Mother's Day. My wife wasn't sure since she did not know the artist well. It turned out to be a terrific and moving experience. My heart, soul, and spirit were moved greatly.

It was great to worship the Lord with Michael W. Smith. I have not seen him in person since the 80's and it was great to see his piano playing again. It was a simple setup, yet had great impact; especially with everyone singing along. I'd like to see him next time with the whole crew too.

An absolutely wonderful performance.The music was not too loud and the atmosphere was very pleasant. MW Smith is a Christian singer and the words of his songs brought the Christian message alive in the most inspiring way.I do like the fact that he sang most of the songs on his own as it allowed us to enjoy his beautiful voice.He also sang with a high school choir which I am sure delighted them as well as their Parents in the audience.It was so nice to see and hear all these young voices with MW Smith.What a blessed evening it was.MW Smith also sang Friends and Above all which are my 2 favorite songs by him.

Experiencing the concert with full orchestra and chorus was an awesome experience. Those who were not there sure missed out on a wonderful way to get into the Christmas Spirit and hear fantastic professional talent. This was a well done performance.

Thought the concert was awesome! Just amazed at how beautiful and relaxing the music was. Michael W. Smith shared a lot from his heart and you could really get a sense for how great of a person and Christian he is.
