I can't say that Fish & Animals is MY cup of tea - but if it doesn't float my boat, it will float someone else's. The young people certainly seem to love what they do...and that's always nice to see. Hooray for Ben being passed on his Dad's musical genes :)
I had no idea that Geoffrey wasn't going to be present, and it did have an impact for certain - something was missing, and it felt that way at times. The two guest musicians were excellent - particularly Kendal Carson. The energy was there as always, and unlike some other bands that have been around for decades - the boys seem to love what they do and not have grown weary of singing "Home For A Rest" for the umpteebajillionth time.
Against the barrier...front and centre. That's where it's best! Cheers to one of my two favourite CANADIAN bands :)
