Arlo was, as usual, a fantastic entertainer

Favorite moment: "In The Shade Of The Old Apple Tree". I'd never heard Arlo do this song before, and it was hilarious. @
Opening act(s): Richie Havens sang great also. In between songs it was a little strange, but with all the good this man does, I should put up with a little rambling that doesn't make sense. @

From the moment I could see Arlo's white hair glowing in the
black lights as he walked onto the unlit stage until the incredibly
sad moment that he left after his encore I was happily entertained.
Because I see him as often as I can when he comes to town, much
of his show I know by heart, but he did throw in a few songs and stories
that I hadn't heard before. I loved the fact that he recited his children's
book, "Mooses Come Walking", a book that I bought for my grand-
daughter a few years ago.

My college age daughter and I saw Arlo and family last weekend. The show had
somthing for everyone and was themed with a tribute to the great Woody Guthrie.
Lots of new music and plenty of standards - not to mention some wonderful stories.

Was really the whole Guthrie Family Show. I got the feeling it was dreamed up by Sarah Lee and her husband to try to jumpstart thier careers. I enjoyed the show. Played a lot of Woody's stuff, some new stuff, some of Sarah Lee's stuff, some of the old stuff. No Alice's Restaurant but was an enjoyable show. The crowd was pretty sparse. As a fake Saxophone Player as a kid I really enjoyed the fake playing that was going on by some of the younger Guthries.
