Don Williams' songs have been a part of our lives forever and to see him sing these songs in person was an evening I'll never forget. His beautiful smooth voice has lasted through the years even with the difficulty of having to cancel a few shows due to bronchitis last week. Don's songs touch our hearts and we remember our younger days, too. Now to experience this moment in time - the generousity of him and his band of musicians traveling to sing for us again - was perfect. It was my first time to see him after playing his songs at home for forty years! . Don's easy manner with the audience and him sipping on his black coffee gave me the impression of being in his living room for a comfortable evening of his wonderful music. Thank you, Don. Those songs will live on long after you and I are gone.

I would have to say that this was one of the best concerts my husband and I have ever attended at the Birchmere. It honestly exceeded our expectations! And we are big fans of Don Williams, we loved how he sang so many of our favorite songs!

My wife and i took another couple and we all loved the show. Don has a laid back style and enunciates his words very clearly. So you can really understand the lyrics and enjoy his message.

He was awesome. His voice is so smooth and clear. It is so refreshing to hear real music with a true country feel. There aren't many of these great guys left, so catch them when you can.

Saw Ashley Moore open-up for Don Williams and am thrilled to find a new favorite! Her voice is a combination between Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton and her song writing is outstanding and poignant. She is a delightful performer.

Then, saw Don Williams who I grew up listening to -- every moment was magic! His voice was even more rich and resonant than on the albums I wore out in the 70's. His lyrics are profound and still apply today, nobody writes a better love song. Can't recommend highly enough!

It was 75 minutes of total enjoyment. Don Williams and his band were no nonsesne professionals, and in person his songs sounded even better than they have on records over the last 40 years. I doubt that he sang every one of his hits, but everything he did just brought waves of nostalgia. If you ever liked any of his music, you really should go see him; he's just excellent, well worth the money and time.

The concert was absolutey wonderful! I could have sat there all night listening to Don.
I love the way he just walks out on stage, sits on his stool with guitar in lap, and JUST sings, and the cute little way he still kicks his left heel out while keeping time to the music. He still doesn't do much talking other than introducing the band members.
His music is still fantastic. The crowd is so quiet during his songs that you can hear a pin drop. Between songs, however, there is well deserved very loud applause.
He sang some of his new songs (which were great) and some of his all-time favorites for those of us who have been listening to him for many years.
I hadn't seen him live in many years so it was a wonderful treat!!!

My wife and I have been trying to catch Don Williams for a live performance, finally put this performance and our busy lives together. My wife was absolutely taken by Don's performance. She has always liked his music alot, but seeing him live just made this couple trip very special for her. Hope to catch another Don Williams live show.

Location:Live near Boerne, Texas---like country music

Our tickets were my husband's birthday present this year. Don Williams' voice is as good as it was years ago. We especially liked that it was just him and his band----no warmup by some promissing but unknown musicians. Also liked that he sang for an hour and a half with no intermission----made the evening go smoothly and we still got home at a fairly reasonable hour. We loved the old standards----and I purchased three of his CD's as an additional gift for my hubby. It was a great evening.

The sound was perfect, which is saying a LOT at the Majestic. (Sometimes in the theater, the sound is so loud that you cannot discern the lyrics). Don set a down home, comfortable atmosphere with his laid-back style. A Southern gentleman all the way, pleasing the crowd with all the old standards that we remember, and still managing to keep them fresh. No disappointments here!!!

The Majestic was packed. There were no fancy stage props or lighting, no smoke and mirrors. Just the man and his band on stage. The fact that they've worked together for years was evident from start to finish - they made it all look very simple and very fun. Don Williams sang one hit song after another, and remained true to the recordings from so many years ago. His voice has not aged one bit! He seemed truly pleased when he was able to stop singing for a moment, only to have the audience continue singing his songs for him, word for word (and in tune, I might add!). It was great to be a part of an audience like that. I wish him many more years singing and playing, and I hope I get the opportunity to see him again soon.

His voice was exactly what I was hoping to hear and I was not disappointed one bit! I and the 3 guests I brought enjoyed the show. His voice hasn't changed a bit!
We could hear and see everything even though we were high up in the balcony.

What an amazing performance!!! Mr. Williams is such a great role model. We need more men like him in the world. I have childhood memories & so it's such a thrill to get to see him every single time. I hope he comes every year. The Majestic Theatre is a beautiful place. Thank you for the opportunity to make more sweet memories with my mom, brother, sis-in-law & husband. Love you Don Williams!!
