Favorite moment: Superman followed by She Doesn't Think I'm Funny Any More. Great combination of pure musical talent infused with humor. Awesome! @

Opening act(s): Brett Eldredge was a perfect opener. All acoustic, strong voice, excellent songwriting and overall good sound. I think you will hear a lot more from him. @

Willie Nelson is a national icon and this show was all about showcasing his uncanny talent. Late career icons often hide behind younger talent to carry their shows, but not the case here. There was plenty of talent on the stage as back up, but this was clearly a Willie show. The supporting cast was given ample opportunity to step forward and display their skills, but in no way, did they overshadow Willie. From awesome guitar rifts, to some comedy intertwined in the music, to the melodic voice that is distinctly his, the was Willie at his best.

I allways wanted to see Willie in concert so when i heard he was playing in Columbus i didnt hesitate in buying tickets. I didnt care that it was 3 hours away from home. The show was awsome. He played for about 2 hours and never really stoped. He played all of my favorite songs and more.

Willie started a little slow but soon warmed up.After he blasted out Whiskey River with all the gusto he had years ago it was smooth sailing.

I can say that I saw Willie in person. Can I say it was good? Not really. He is beyond his prime now and he needs to admit it. He can still play the guitar but he can't sing any more. He is pushing it. He needs to leave it to his children to carry on.

Willie was terrific, esp loved his kids playing with him. How proud he must feel having them a part of the concert. And they are great. Willie always gives us an excellent show and is so down to earth throughout. Never miss a concert if within our area. Always recommend it to all. Keep bringing him back as long as he is able to come. The couple to us left early saying it was not what they expected. We thought, well what did you expect? He's 80! We didn't come expecting the show he used to do. Our neighbor missed the best part of the show. Willie got stronger and more personable as the show went along. Maybe it was the love he felt from the crowd because their was a lot coming from the packed house. His voice isn't what it use to be, but his family helps him out, which was memorable in itself. Wow. can he play that old guitar! My husband is still thanking me for taking him for his birthday!

Willie sounded as wonderful as ever, you'd never think he was 80 years old. His son Lukas played in the band (amazing guitarist) and sang.

I'm a long time fan of Willie Nelson. It was very difficult to recognize what song he was playing until about half way through. The music overpowered his voice. Buy the DVD don't go to the concert it's a waste of time and money. I'm still a Willie Nelson fan bless his heart.

I had heard that Willie put on a great show and it was even better than advertised. His guitar playing stood out. My favorite part of the show was the 4 Hank Williams songs he played: I Saw The Light, Jambalaya, Hey Good Looking and Move It On Over.

Had a great time; Willie was as personable as ever and Bobbie banged the keys as lively and sparkly as she always has. Mickey great on harmonica. Only missed Bobbie staying after to talk to people. These eighty + year olds are amazing!

I an 37 years old, growing up with Willies music was the best. My parents are big fans of Willie. As my parents are getting older, I wanted to give my parents a gift that they would not forget, so I bought them tickets to see willies show. They talked about it for months before they even went and are still talking about the show after they went. They said it was the best show they have ever seen and of course my mother says Willie still looks as goods as always. As for myself I did not attend, but I really enjoy Willies music and his style.

I went thinking I would see an old Willy Nelson just for the sake of seeing him again. It was the best performance of his i have ever been to. Small venue. beatiful mastery of that unique guitar and the band a well oiled machine of sound. Yes the eighty years old and still performing and being cheered is amazing also, but his artistry is still rock solid and more beautiful than ever.

I listened to Country music with my dad when I was little and still do today. Going to see Willie brought back great memories of those times with dad. Willie is a Country Icon-great show. The Kalamazoo State Theatre is a beautiful venue-the interior is gorgeous.
