This was the 10th time that I have seen Shelby Lynne, and it was the most reserved audience I have ever seen at her shows. Granted, the show was put on by NPR, and the audience reflected that. The Foley Theater was architectually an amazing venue. The acoustical qualities of the theater carried her voice very well, although the guitar amps did seem a bit low.
Shelby pulled off a great show none-the-less. It goes to show the talent that comes from years of hard work. How such a powerful voice can come from from someone so little astonishes me every time.
All said, it was a great show, though very reserved. If you get a chance to see her in a music bar, especially down south, i.e. Nashville, Birmingham, Atlanta, go to the show. You will not be disappointed. The southern venues attract some very active audiences that Shelby plays off of very well.

Favorite moment: Acapella rendition of "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me." @
Setlist: She played the songs from Revelation Road during the first half, and then played some of her most popular hits from her previous albums. "Leavin'" is always a staple at any of her shows, with good reason. @
