I have been to many George Jones shows and he is definitely a country music icon...Of course his voice was not what it used to be (altho he did a great job) but then he is 80 years old and his energy and style was still strong.. I thought it was a great show and of course he is the King of Country Music the possum George Jones..What more could you ask for?

It was amazing to get to see George Jones LIVE! I never thought that I would get to and George Jones didn't disappoint. We got the tickets for my grandma's birthday and she was just as thrilled as I was. It was definitely an unforgettable experience for all three generations of our family!!!

The GJ concert was ok, but I would have regretted inviting friends. Sure, it was nice to see the Possum in real life, but his singing career is over. George can barely sing these days, and it is unfortunate, but it is what it is. I walked away with a t-shirt, CD, and signed photo, but would have foregone the one and a half hour lead up to George coming on stage only to find out he can't sing.

Good show, however George is very frail. Had trouble breathing and his voice was crackled. He still put on a decent show. He's just getting older and needs your prayers.

I was glad I went. I will always be a fan. I would choose to remember the last time I saw him here. But it was what it weas--his last tour. He was sick and getting old but I still love him and was grateful to just see him one last time!

Overall it was average. WIlsonFaircild guys were very good. George should have been a no show Jones this time. He was barely able to stand up there. Wasn't worth the money I paid.

This was absolutely pitiful. He shouldn't be touring. Didn't know he was in such bad health. Had a difficult time singing and even talking. Forgot lines and verses. Felt sorry for him, but he shouldn't go out like this. It's not how people want to remember him. I would it rather been cancelled and gotten a refund.

The venue is great to see your favorite artist. However, I feel they should have postponed this event. It was evident he had been sick and should not have been performing. I know one cannot help when one is sick, but I feel the right thing to have done would have been to postpone. This event cost me $400 when adding up tickets, hotel, travel, etc. We had planned to get tickets to the Branson event but I have rethought that. I have learned that he was also ill at another event too. I'm so very disappointed as I has second row orchestra seating and was really pumped up. Like I said, I know things happen but I feel they were irresponsible by not postponing the event.

George will always be a country music legend. Having said that, we were very disapointed with his performance at Muncie. He was on stage a total of maybe 45 minutes. He seemed unable to complete any of the songs he tried to do. The band and his back-up singers did a great job of covering him, but we came to hear George, not so much of them. The concert was highly commercial, stopping the show twice to have workers come into the audience selling an old cd remake when George was in better shape. Yes, we bought one, and, it helps us to remember George when he was strong. We hope he is able to make it through his grand tour,but please don't endanger his health any further for the almighty dollar. We will always be George Jones fans and am glad we got to see him once in our lifetime. Be well George!!

This was a huge waste of money. Sounded like crap and he sang 6 songs. I work too hard for my money to spend over $100 on 2 tickets and get 6 songs.

I wanted to see George Jones because he is one of the last of the original country music breed, and I have never attended one of his concerts. I am glad that I can say that I saw him perform live. I have previously attended concerts for Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and some other old-timers, both male and female.

I must now become a critic and review the concert. I would say that it was a disappointment. George, according to his own words, just had surgery several days
prior to the concert. His voice was hoarse (laryngitis) and he could not always hit the
high and/or the low notes. He sat on a chair half of the time and was not really charismatic
at any other time. I gave George three stars (average), but that was only because he was George Jones. If he was an unknown and performed this poorly I would only have given him 1/2 star. It's time to hang it up George lest you leave a parting image of a
washed up country singer. You were and are much better than that. Please do not disappoint any more of your loyal fans. You are a country icon ! Go out that way !
I somewhat enjoyed the concert due to sentimentality....and seeing George live on stage.

I have seen George Jones many times and wanted to attend this concert because I thought it would probably be his last tour. If you are going to pay tribute to a legend then by all means go. However, if you are looking for great vocals and a fantastic show it may be best to forgo this tour. George is 81 now and had a hard time getting enough air to sing. I felt relieved for him when it was over. That said - who do you know that can just sing their greatest hits for an hour. There was no encore and the female vocalist Brittney Allyn did a wonderful job giving Jones time to catch his breath.
I am glad I went but would have been disappointed if it had been my first concert. Loved it for the memories but everything has a season and I think it is time to let it go.

I want my money back! George Jones should have retired 10 years ago, his voice was weak and hoarse and you could not understand him. I couldn't tell one song from another. If I had known he was in that bad of shape I wouldn't have considered buying tickets. This reflects badly on Ticketmaster and I will thick twice about buying anymore tickets. I have been to Nashville and Branson and I have seen many Country singer performance and this was the worst.

George's voice was much weaker than it was when I saw him a couple years back. He had also just had back surgery, not sure if that affected his performance. I am not sorry I went, but would not go to see him again. I think his best is behind him and he should relax and enjoy retirement.
