I can see why Marty is becoming a Country Icon. Not only being a great musician
and entertainer he is backed by a great band who put on a 100% show. As far as Connie, she already is a Country Icon and with her band the Sun-downer's also a great band, is the reason I gave it a 5 star rating.

I really enjoyed watching Marty perform. I loved the fact that his show included different types of music such as country, gospel, and blues. He and his band did a fantastic job. I also liked the fact that Marty and his band stayed to meet and greet fans afterward.

If you enjoy seeing a high energy show from performers who genuinely like each other and appreciate their audience then this is for you. The band has been playing together for so long that the music and vocals are incredible, but they are such good performers that you don't get the feeling that they are just going through the motions.

Marty's interactions with the audience made it feel like you were sitting around with old friends. They put so much energy into their music that they really do shatter the image of what people think of country music. This is the second time I've seen Marty Stuart and The Fabulous Superlatives-- can't wait to see them again!

Absolutely LOVE Connie Smith! Promoting her new album, she sang several of her new songs and incorporated some of her standards that got her there. Connie sings from the heart. She's a classy singer, not a screamer, like newer artists today.

And then came the energy with Marty and his Superlatives! Every one of these gentlemen bring their talent to the stage and show it off! Smiles and harmonies abound! Loved it when Marty brought Connie out to sing some with them!

I WENT TO SEE CONNIE SMITH AT PETERSBURG, IL, ABOUT 40 YEARS AGO. I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF HER'S FOREVER. THE SHOW WAS GREAT AND I THOUGHT THAT MARTY AND HIS CREW WERE GREAT. I TAPE ALL OF HIS SHOWS FROM RURAL TV. I DIDN'T REALIZE MARTY WAS SUCH A MUSICIAN.

1st time to see marty Stewart. His show is very, very good. His musical talents are amazing. His band is professional and accomplished with each musical instruments. The guitar show was fantastic. Don't know that we have ever been to a better concert. The Effingham performance center has excellent sound. We could hear the songs perfectly. I should mention his wife Connie Smith and her band were terrific. We were impressed with "Cousin Kenny". Makes you realize talent must run in families. What a privilege to watch a musical group show off a lifetime of expertise.

I am not A country Music fan, I bought the tickets for my wife who is a big fan of Connie Smith.
However, I truly enjoyed the show, Connie was great, and I really liked the music Marty Stewart and his group done. I have always been partial to the Madeline, and Marty is one of the best I have heard play it.

Also I think it was terrific that they would shake hands with the people after the show.

My husband is a great fan of Connie Smith. For his birthday, I purchased tickets for us to see Marty Stuart and Connie. We knew we were going to enjoy seeing and hearing Connie (and we did), but we were so impressed by the preformance and entertainment of Marty Stuart and his band. What a thoroughly enjoyable show!! We would both go to see this couple again if given the opportunity.

It was a wonderful event. Marty Stuart played for almost 2 hours and never even took a break. He is multi talented, and his group the Superlatives are also very good.

The Mable House Amphiteatre was a fantastic venue! Every seat was an upclose view! Very affordable. I was disappointed with the ATL area for the many empty seats! They really missed a Wonderful Show! Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives was a very talented group! Then entire band was entertaining!
I recommend Marty and I recommend the Mable house for a must see!

Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives live up to their name in the most honest and dynamic way. Tiny little amps, a BIG dose of talent, and many shared years in Nashville makes for one of the most musical, versatile, and entertaining acts playing "country" music (read: MUSIC) today. Blue Nudie suits for the FABULOUS Superlatives, a black leather for the fearless little rooster in charge, and more music than anyone could ask for. Not an idle moment, except when warranted, a constantly shifting but never wavering presentation, chances taken and redeemed,how could the younger artists top this? Barnes Amphitheater is a top notch venue with NOT A BAD SEAT! Marty and Superlatives always visit with anyone who comes to their after show meet & Greet. A real plus. Opening act the Reluctant Saints were spot-on, and THEIR after-show " street" presentation was just the right cap for a wonderful evening in Mableton.

Have to admit never been a big fan of Marty or Connie but after seeing them live really appreciate how talented they are. Loved the show one of the first I been to at The IP that was not so loud that you needed ear plugs. Very clear you could understand the words to the songs. Again very good job thanks.

I was very impressed with both of them. I was a DJ when Connie first started recording, and I have been a fan of hers ever since.

I had heard of Marty Stuart, but never heard much of his music. He is an outstanding entertainer, with a beautiful voice.
