This was an excellent tribute show to the greatest dobro player the world has ever known. Many of country and bluegrass' greats were in attendance. The show lasted about 4 hours and everyone was sorry to see it end.. The tickets sold out in less than 4 hours. My only complaint is that the early arrivals had to camp out , outside the Birchmere until they opened the doors. It's customary to line up early outside to get the lowest number for seating preference. We arrived about 2:30 for a 5PM door opening and about 45 people were already there ahead of us. This time of year, it would serve far better to open the doors and let the crowd into the bar and holding area where there is plenty of room. This would not change the seating numbering system they have in place at all.
