I never thought it would be possible but CCR (even though the R stands for Revisited) is better than ever. The "original guys" lit up the stage with excitement, the lead singer brought the house down, the keyboard man was terrific, and the young guitarist was phenomenal beyond imagination. If they come back to Alabama...I'm there.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A CONCERT AT MONTGOMERY PREFORMING ARTS CENTER BUT I WILL GO FROM NOW ON.THE BAND WAS GREAT ALSO.THE ENTIRE CONCERT WAS WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY.I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE CONCERTS COME TO MONTGOMERY.

OK, I realized before the show that it wasn't the original...and they gave a great effort
at it, but all in all I thought it was mediocre. Not to say that I didn't enjoy it; it was fun.
However, it lacked the showstopping concert I expected.
In contrast, the Smokey Robinson show was absolutely the most unforgettable evening
I've had at MPAC!!! It was professional and had the pizazz I had hoped for with CCR.

CCR was great. They did a wonderful job. The concert was less than two hours though. My only other problem was that 99% of the audience consisted of senior citizens. Hardly anyone stood the whole concert. I felt sorry for CCR.

I was so impressed. The crowd really responded to their performance and it was a blast. One of the ladies working there said it was the best performance they had had there.

Every songs was a familiar hit that sounded better than the original tracks. Not a lick was overlooked including the feedback. The musicians were excellent and the singer was awesome. I enjoyed every moment. I had forgotten some of their best songs and it just brought back a lot of memories. All that was missing was the tie dyed t-shirts and the beads oh yeah and the flowers in your hair.

This band, with two of the original CCR members, was excellent. The lead singer was great on vocals and sounded way close to JF...but put enough of himself into the song you knew it was him. The lead guitair player was awesome...there just isn't anyother way to describe him. His playing was smokin' hot and his solos were works of art.
