First, unlike most shows, the opener (Meiko) was amazing. Beautiful voice, funny stories between songs. Really charismatic. And then Jewel! Everything she sang was so beautiful. And not just a repeat of her albums. The vocals were reworked (or maybe free form, who knows) and so so beautiful. And she really talked to the audience. Sharing details of her life and the inspiration for her songs. With just her on stage with her guitar and the audience space darkened it was like spending time with a really talented friend. Truly a wonderful experience.

Yet again Jewel, continues to entertain loyal fans such as myself. She has been doing this for 13 years and her talent seems ageless. We love her interaction with the audience. Her stories about her life experiences in between songs are a nice touch that enables the audience to get to learn more about her while also understanding the songs she writes. We were 4 rows back right in the middle, Villa Montalvo is a great place to listen to live music. I look forward to her next visit to the Bay Area.

This was my first time seeing Jewel live, although I have been a fan for about 9 years. She did a wonderful job of making everyone in attendance feel like a family. Her velvet voice just seems to effortlessly slip out. The "unplugged singer/songwriter" style was a perfect match for her sweet personality and tender stories from her life. Usually I don't prefer it when artists get on stage and talk a lot, but she did a beautiful job of blending the songs and stories. It made the night special.
The set list (which apparently doesn't exist) was a wonderful collection of the old and new. She even asked the crowd for suggestions on what we would like to hear. Despite some overly-excited and slightly inebriated fans who shouted out selections repeatedly and obnoxiously, Jewel politely and humorously quieted the crowd and obliged a number of the requests.
Hats off to a very classy and terribly talented artist and lady.

Its amazing what a person with talent can do, why arent more of her songs played on the radio? I only went to the show for something to do in-between gambling at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, never been a fan, but I walked away stunned.
Down to Earth, funny storyteller, then tugging at your heart strings, she definitely puts on a show. But it's her show.
I cant say enough good things about that night, and am now amazed about what 1 person with a gift and a guitar can do.

Loved the show!! When you go to a concert alot of times the artsit sounds different or not as good as you would imagine, Jewel in person sounds better than on the radio. Extremely rare and talented. Small venue. Jewel is very relatable in person. Enjoyed her sense of humor.

We have a new found appreciation for Jewel!! She performed for almost 3 hrs and the range of her voice is unbelievable! Although she stated she is shy and has social anxiety, you couldn't tell it by her humor on stage! Highly recommend her concerts to anyone, young or old!

The best concert i have ever been too. I loved it. If you have a chance to see Jewel go don't think about it just get a ticket. If you don't you will miss out on th best concert ever. There was this one song that she sang i can't wait for it to come out on her next cd it was called "hole in my heart"

One of the best concerts we have seen. My daughter and I are fans of Jewels but we were absolutely amazed at such a fabulous performance. Her talent is unbelievable, she has an exquiste voice and can sing any style. She has a wonderful stage personality, so fun and genuine. Great time.

I honestly believe that Jewel is the best singer in the world. I've never heard anyone with half the control over their voice as she has. She has an incredible range and honestly, no one compares. This was an acoustic show, so it was just us, her and the guitar. There was no band but it was still an amazing show. I'll never forget this show as long as I live and I hope that I get to see her in concert again! She told the funniest stories and just seems to have the best personality.

I didn't realize it was going to be an acoustic concert. Jewel was great, she gave backgrounds to many of her songs and she played alot of her older music which was really nice

I was highly impressed with the quality of the opening performance by Holly Williams. She did a phenomenal job and has a beautiful voice and guitar-playing ability! Knowing she wrote some of the songs was impressive also. Jewel was the highlight of my week. She is not only beautiful but can sing, play guitar and write her own music. The way she ad-libbed some of the songs was good but the words of her songs -- gosh, touched me deeply. I enjoyed myself greatly. Today is my birthday so I felt like she was singing especially for me. :)

The show was good! Newer material mixed with her hits everybody loves. She is VERY FUNNY!... great stories between songs... I was surprised I laughed so much. Maybe she has a backup if she decides to take a break from singing. She really knows how to tell a good story.
