Tremendous show...Been watching Tull and Ian Anderson for forty years and they never give a bad performance. He always surrounds himself with the best musicans...the new album is great, great, great! Different from TAAB I but sounds just as good. The forum is excellent. Only negative comment: Those that seem to think that we all want to watch them get up and walk around in th middle of the show. European fans are more considerate of those sitting around them.

Not just a concert but a real entertaining night. The music was fantastic and the talent Ian has put together for this tour is superb.
Ian has blended both the music of our past with the technology of today and an interactive show.
His appeal to men to avoid an early death like some of his friends was a testimonial to his sincerity.

After listening to TAAB 1 for many years, trying to bring deep meaning to the lyrics written by Ian Anderson, I realize that I was thick as a brick. This fast moving theatrical performance was moving to say the least. His discovery of Ryan O'Donnell and his vocals was mesmerizing to say the least. As you find out that O'Donnell is a young Ian Anderson singing, allowing Ian Anderson to perform his magic with the flute. Job well done Mr. Anderson, TAAB 2 has brought you full circle. I left the performance once again searching for that deep meaning of TAAB. With all that being said, my one criticism is that the performance I saw was in an amphitheater and I feel a lot of the power of the music was lost to the wind.

First 1/2 of the show..."Thick as a Brick" was WONDERFUL. The second half was a boarfest. It was terrible. He needed to do Jethro Tull songs. EVERYONE walked out disappointed from the Fox Theater in Detroit.

This concert was 40 years after my first Ian Anderson concert. I have probably seen him 5 times. The concert was GREAT the venue AMAZING and everyone loved it!

Ian Anderson was even better than the first time I saw him 41 years ago for the Aqualung concert. Funny! Witty! Energetic! and just plain amazing. I planned my vacation around this concert coming back to my home from Hawaii. Well worth it.

Ian is just amazing. How else can you put it? I took my 14 year old GrandDaughter, she is a flute player. She was as impressed as I!
My only let down was not being able to use my credit card and buy her a t-shirt. Cash only.

He played Thick as a Brick 1 then had intermission and then played Thick as a brick 2,the encore was Locomotive Breath which was excellent..the new guitar player was excellent,he had a younger singer singing the parts that he could not while he was playing the flute and sounded a lot like Ian Anderson.The whole show was amazing!!!

It's hard to put into words the experience i had at this show it was more than i expected for sure,it had a begining,middle and an end. About 5 minutes into the show my wife asked if i knew it was going to be like this? I had no idea but i was loving every minute of it even when Ian got a phone call that stoped the show for a short time. Needless to say we had a great time with Ian and his band mates and were so happy for the scubadiver when he finally found the ocean:)

Excellent.
I really enjoyed it, and it was my 14 year old daughter's first rock concert. She enjoyed it as well. I would see Ian and his band again, .....Aqualung perhaps?

I saw Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull perform Thick As A Brick in 1972. This time I took my kids to see him. My son was literally on the edge of his seat through the whole performance. Masterful performance!

This timeless Old English Minstrel continues to mesmerize you with relentless flute playing skills and a back-up of Tull-like skilled & polished musicians from the gallery. A superbly entertaining show both audio & visually. For this very fairly priced show to todays money standards , it's a DONT MISS./DOESN'T DISSAPOINT SHOW. Though the song does not come onto the set list AQUALUNG makes several cameo visits on the screen to remind you he is there. Treat yourself to this experience-IT ROCKS.

Ian and his new band were great. Ian's voice has lost some range but he perfectly nailed the acoustic guitar and flute work. The new Thick as a Brick 2 material was much better than I expected - built around Ian's present vocal range and the talents of his touring band. I particularly enjoyed the young European guy (29 years old) on guitar, Florian Opahle. The band was incredibly tight and energetic. Excellent show.

The venue was absolutely beautiful! The concert was more of a "Rock Opera" than an ordinary concert! It was energy packed with little "Ian" musings. The lighting was spectacular and the acoustics were spot on! It was an amazing show and we enjoyed it immensely! I would highly recommend this show to everyone! Well worth it and I would consider this one of the best shows I have seen or attended in a long time! Ian was in top form and the fellow band members were right in step with it all! Ryan O'Donnell was such a pleasant addition to this show along with Scott Hammond, David Goodier, John O'Hara and Florian Ophale. Cannot wait to see how Ian will top this one!
