The show was amazing! It should be rebroadcast on WWOZ. The original compositions written by Mayfield were timeless pieces. This was NOJO at it's best. Ed Peterson did a unforgettable piece one the audience did not want to end. A great tribute by a very talented orchestra for a Great Man, Mr. Ernest Gaines. Grateful to have been there, an experience I will never forget. Congratulations NOJO on delivering a Grammy winning performance!

I took my husband to this show as a date-night and we were extremely impressed with it.
I recommend this concert to all lovers of jazz or anyone who has an appreciation for good music! We also enjoyed the intimate venue being the House of Blues of New Orleans. NOJO has two new fans who can't wait to hear more from them!
