Although autoerotique was good, it took him a while to pull the crowd into what he was spinning. Next in the lineup was Moving Units, who I was thoroughly impressed with. I thought the lead singer's voice was a little droning during some songs and hadn't yet perfected his stage presence (there was very minimal transition through songs), they still put on a good show and warmed up the crowd for what most of the show-goers were waiting for. Quite simply, the Faint stole the show. The best part of the show comes from their quirky antics and legit media show in the background, which doesn't overwhelm the music as it would in some bands cases, but only immensely adds to the dynamic nature of their songs. I loved it! :)
Not to mention, I really, really enjoyed the venue. I had never been to (or even heard of) Club Nokia, and I was impressed. NOTE: if you want to get into the pit area, be one of the first 400 people there and you get a wristband (not sure if it's that way for all shows, but check beforehand).
