Although Staind was the second band on the October 3rd lineup at Denver's Fiddler's Green Amphitheater, they stole the show. They should have headlined, but the good news is I think they garnered new fans. Staind led their set list with a raging "For You" and ended with an equally impactful "Mudshovel." In between, they played a mix of their greatest hits as well as songs from their latest album "Illusions of Progress," which is far less raw than their previous releases.
We left early, which I generally find disrespectful, but Creed was boring. We walked to the nearby brewery to find other concert goers with the same idea. My favorite comment of the night was, "We came as Creed fans and left as Staind fans."

This was my first time seeing Shinedown and they did not disappoint. Great sound and crowd interaction. This was also my first time seeing Chavelle and Halestorm. Chavelle was O.K.... would probably have been better for me if I was more familiar with their music. Halestorm did a GREAT job. I hope they are around for a while... lots of energy. This was my second time seeing Staind. (They were the headliners.) Honestly, I thought they were quite boring and we left half-way through their set.

Opening act(s): Halestorm rocks! My kids that are 10 and 8 and 8 were ticked because they wanted to see you! They sing all of your songs by heart at the top of their lungs! You're the best! @

Halestorm was the best opener that I have seen in a long time! They killed it! Chevelle got my blood pumping with the beat and vocals! Shinedown stage presence and songs were just what I needed to hear before Staind came on! Staind...what can I say but you're the best I have ever seen in concert! When Aaron popped up 15 feet from me and played two songs in the pouring rain with the guitar only was the "it" moment for me! I will never in my life forget this concert!!
